Summary
Oscar had seen the photos, the horror evident on his face. He stepped back in disbelief, his heart breaking with every breath.
Finally, he looked at Lando. He should have never let him in ,never opened up to him. It was all his fault.
“So it really was you. You went there by yourself…” Oscar said, hurt lacing his voice.
His expression hardened.
“Don’t show me your face again. Not if…not if you want the red card.”
“Oscar, I can explain. It wasn’t my fault,” Lando said desperately, trying to pull Oscar back into his explanation.
“Oh, I know it wasn’t ba- Lando. It was my fault. I should have never spoken to filth like you.”
With that, Oscar turned and walked out.
