Summary
Jess has been exiled to the small, saccharine town of Stars Hollow, tucked into the moss and mist of the Olympic Peninsula. There’s a diner downstairs, a gruff uncle behind the counter, and a local hockey star who gets under his skin. Jess figures he has three months—maybe less—before it all falls apart.
Luke Danes wants to do right by his nephew. What he doesn’t expect is how much damage lives beneath the anger and silence, or how little he understands what Jess has already survived.
And yet—between the near-constant rain, fluffy pancakes and mis-communications, maybe at the end of it all there is a little piece of home there for the both of them.
