OCTOBER 30th
Billy bangs his door shut, cigarette already in his mouth, as he tries to drown out the noise of the brat’s insults. Neil insists he drives her every morning for ‘bonding’. Bonding with the reason he’s stuck in this hellscape. As if.
He walks his way over to the entrance feeling eyes linger on him, taking him in and appraising his appearance. If he’s forced to stay in this town then he’ll make sure he has fun. Fun that Neil would approve of, of course.
Just as he’s about to walk up the steps he sees a boy, a gorgeous boy with big, brown eyes, staring. Just staring. As if he was in some sort of trance Bambi eyes lifts a hand and waves. A innocent gesture but Billy is tainted — he’s scared. He knows that a boys eyes should never be beautiful, they can’t be, Neil’s boot taught him that a year ago. That’s why he chooses to ignore Bambi’s welcoming gesture.
Sneering at the boy, he turns before he can see a reaction, overcome with an urge to run and beg for forgiveness. The boy must be a male omega, just his luck to run in to two in his life time and be tempted by both. As a prime alpha, Billy is tempted by all types of genders that can bear his offspring, that’s just his nature. Biology isn’t a good enough excuse for his devout catholic father though. Only a female omega is good enough, and a prime one at that since they are the most compatible with Billy’s biology.
He used to be somewhat close with his father, the beatings mostly for discipline, then after his mother’s death their relationship suffered. That wasn’t when the daily beatings started, however, they begun when Max slipped that Billy was at the beach with the infamous male omega. The one Neil drilled into his son’s mind to stay away from lest he be tempted. And tempted he was.
That’s how his father found him, on a beach sunset buried in a crossdressing male omega. Unaware that his father was about to put the fear of God into him. He beat the omega within an inch of his life and Billy would have suffered the same fate if not for his superior biology. Somedays Billy swears that if he wasn’t a prime his dad would’ve thrown him to the streets, his rare status saving him from homelessness. Ever since that dreaded day his dad has been on the prowl for a prime omega, convinced that’s the only way to satiate his son’s sinful desires. Most people look down on homosexuality but accept relationships if the secondary genders are compatible but Neil was a devout catholic with iron morals. His son wouldn’t be a fag — he’d beat it out of him.

By the end of the day he knows Bambi’s name and has decided to join the basketball team to keep an eye on him. Determined to figure out if this newfound obsession is another homosexual tendency to squash or simple curiosity.
Unable to help himself, Billy corners Steve at the end of the day, telling himself that he needs to publicly dethrone the previous king for his new status to be cemented. Really, he just wants an excuse to get his hands on him.
“Hey pretty boy, I heard you ran things around here. King Steve before you turned bitch” Billy goads him purposefully.
The reaction is disappointing to say the least, looking Billy up and down, Steve simply says, “ I gathered you were rude from earlier. Now I see you’re just thick. You can be the ‘king’, I’ve got better things to worry about.”
Insulted but also intrigued, Billy pushes him, surprisingly pleased at the small gasp that escapes the other’s lips. Spurred on by that small sound he pushes him into the wall, rewarded with a small groan. Being this close he can smell the scent - or non scent - with a wrinkled nose he realises there’s nothing to discover.
“ Either your on blockers or your a beta. Even my medical grade suppressants don’t block all my scent. If a prime can’t block their scent without causing major damage to their hormones what makes you think you can omega.”
“ I’m not a fucking omega you freak, and stop boasting about being a prime. It isn’t anything special, you just stink more and have a bigger knot. Well done.”
“Careful Bambi, wouldn’t want those eyes to turn black and blue would we. We both know being a prime has much more perks than my irresistible smell and size, I’m glad to know your thinking of my knot though.” He chuckled after the last part, patting the beta’s cheek.
He watched Steve struggle before letting him go, watching him, smirking as he gets the finger. Maybe it wouldn’t be bad if he teases the other boy, something harmless and Neil would never find out. It wouldn’t be like last year. No. Bambi doesn’t deserve the beating those two boys got.
He walks back to Tommy and Carol, people patting him on the back and teasing the boy that’s walking out. Billy can’t decide if he hates the boy or loves him for bringing his curiosity back.
