Summary
Cody grits his teeth, trying to swallow his anger. It wasn’t the kid’s fault. He didn’t know any better.
“He shouldn’t have that,” Cody says coarsely, ignoring the way it pains his chest to watch the boy’s face fall. “It doesn’t belong to him.”
“My uncle is not a thief,” The boy contests, crossing his arms tightly across his chest. “Maybe you’re the thief!”
Cody sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose between his fingers. “You don’t know what you’re talking about, kid.”
“My name is Luke,” He says firmly, dropping his arms to his side and straightening his back. Cody looks back up to make eye contact with him, surprised by the fiery determination in his little eyes. “And for your information, we Kenobis are honorable men. We certainly do not steal.”

When Steve comes over and follows Billy to his bedroom, Tommy over hears them fucking and misunderstands what is going on.

Tommy’s brow furrows, he wants to say something, ask what exactly Steve is here for, what hard stuff is he here to pick up but his brain is too foggy and his mouth is sticking. Before he can work up to asking, Billy moves up to Steve, sliding a hand over the back of his neck and drags him to the back room. It strikes Tommy as oddly intimate, the way Billy’s fingers stroke down the long expanse of Steve’s neck before cupping and pulling, keeping their bodies close as he pulls Steve back to his room. It also did not appear to faze Steve in the slightest like it is some sort of practiced gesture, how many times has Steve comes over for something other than weed?
