Never Piss off a Parental Werewolf

Chapter 56

Summary:

We have come to the end my friends. I hope you have enjoyed reading my story, and I hope the ending doesn't suck too much.

Chapter Text

“Are you ready for this Pads?” Remus asked his fiancé, turning to look at him.

Sirius reached out to straighten the bowtie around Remus’s neck. “Moony, I have been waiting to do this for fourteen years. Don’t tell me you’re having second thoughts now.”

Remus smiled. “Never.”

“Good,” Sirius said, relaxing his shoulders. “You look beautiful, by the way.”

“So do you,” Remus said, reaching out to cup his cheek.

“Yes, yes, everybody looks beautiful,” Harry cut in, tugging them away from their moment. “There is plenty of time to stare goofily into each other’s eyes later. But if you don’t start walking down that aisle in two seconds, the Officiant might just wed those two gnomes that have been hovering about.”

“Alright, alright,” Sirius said, backing away from Remus slightly. “We’re coming.”

“Good,” Harry said. He darted in to press a kiss to each of his parent’s cheeks, then jogged down the aisle himself to be stood in the right place when the music started. The audience tittered in amusement at the boy.

As the music started, Sirius offered his arm to Remus and they began to walk down the aisle. Harry couldn’t help but smile in happiness as they walked towards him. They both brushed up pretty well, when they put their minds to it. Although, in the end Sirius decided not to go for the dress.

They reached the end of the aisle and turned to face the Officiant, hands still clutched together in the gap between them. The Officiant smiled at them before turning to the crowd.

“Please be seated,” He said. There was some shuffling as their guests followed the instruction. Molly Weasley was already crying, using Arthurs pocket handkerchief to dab at her damp cheeks. Ron caught Harry’s eye and rolled his eyes at the ridiculousness of his mother. Harry snorted quietly.

“We are gathered here today to witness what I’m told is a union that has waited far to long. The love that bonds the two men before us is one that has already been tested by many trials and tribulations. The death of loved ones, a separation of twelve years and a lifetime of illnesses suffered. But through it all, their love has held firm. We gathered here offer you Sirius Black and Remus Lupin our blessing for the future, that you may suffer no more loss or pain, but should you find yourselves at its feet once more, you shall face it together as you always have.”

Remus and Sirius had tears in their eyes as they stared at one another. They hadn’t known exactly what the Officiant was going to say, but he spoke only the truth.

“Have you the rings?” The Officiant asked, turning to Harry.

“Oh!” Harry exclaimed, patting his pockets down. “Ah hah,” he said, finding them in his breast pocket of all places, and holding them out to him.

Sirius and Remus took turns sliding rings onto each other’s fingers and declaring their undying love for one another. Harry watched on in awe of the love pouring from both of them, a love that stretched out and encompassed him, their son, almost as if the emotion was a tangible thing.

“I now pronounce you Husbands. You may kiss to seal this bond,” The Officiant said.

Sirius grinned madly, before grabbing Remus by the centre of his shirt and dragging him in for a kiss. Remus’s arms flailed for a moment before he wrapped them around Sirius’s shoulders and relaxed into the kiss.

The crowd around them whooped and hollered. There were a few wolf whistles and Fred and George yelled, “Get a room!” only to be smacked over the backs of their heads by their weeping mother.

Sirius and Remus finally pulled apart, unable to contain their laughter at their ridiculous friends.

“May I present Misters Lupin-Black!” The Officiant called, and the crowd began cheering once more.

Laughing, Harry threw himself at his parents. They caught him in a hug. “Congratulations,” Harry mumbled into someone’s shoulder.

“We never could’ve done it without you, Harry,” Remus said.

“Yeah,” Sirius agreed, pulling away to meet his eyes. “If it wasn’t for you, I’d still be on the run. So, thank you Pup.”

Harry smiled. “I’d do it all again, just to see you two smiling like that. I love you guys.”

“We love you too, Cub,” Remus said, pressing a kiss to his forehead. “C’mon, let’s go get some cake.”

“Ooh Cake!” Sirius said excitedly, grabbing up Remus and Harry’s hands and dragging them into the crowd, laughter following in their wake.

And they lived happily ever after? I have no idea how to end this. Sorry.

I do not own Harry Potter or the characters, as always, I just borrowed them.
