Dearest reader,
It must be a splendid day where you are right now. If not, then fear not. We hope that by the end of this fairytale woven within the lines of the many letters included here, your day will have picked up for the best.
Though, before you proceed, we recognize that there may be some confusion. Perhaps even some doubt. Something rolling through your head along the terms of, ‘Didn’t I just open a letter? Addressed to a pair of individuals who are not me?’ Perhaps at this point, a pang of guilt may be resonating in your chest.
Well, today must be your lucky day! And you didn’t even know it!
Yes, these are letters. Yes, the names on the front of the envelope are very much meant to be there.
But this is not a correspondence for them. This is a recollection of their correspondence, their names etched into the lovely envelope as a way of naming our heroes and princes of this very enchanted story.
It is at this point that we encourage you to take a moment to gather yourself. Sit back, dear reader. Grab a drink. Get comfortable and cozy. Take a moment or two or many to ready yourself for a very, very magical tale.
For, the fairytale written here in all these letters is a one of a pair of young heroes with very princely yet very broken hearts, the letters that they did and didn’t write with their pens and papers, and an emotion that grows in a way that terrifies the two into believing in hope.
Oh, we hope you will excuse our excitement.
This is a story that will end when our silly little characters finally write the eight letters to make up the three words that have been sitting deep within their hearts since the moment the first hero penned his first tome.
Sincerely,
A very magical cast of stationary
