Work Text:
Gihun stared down at the contents of the small plastic bag that had been shoved under the mattress, heart pounding in his throat.
Dotted, ultra-thin, intense sensation…
The descriptions on the small boxes stabbed at his eyes. He picked up the large tube of stuff on the side and read: water-based lubrication for–
Gihun flung the lube back into the bag as if it had electrocuted him.
Gritting his teeth, he turned and shouted, “Hwang Inho! Get in here. Now!”
The little one came running over instead. Gihun quickly hid the bag of condoms and lube under the covers and grabbed Junho by his tiny shoulders. He marched the four-year-old out of his bedroom and back onto the couch.
“No, not you, baby. Are you tired of this cartoon? Let’s try something else.” He skipped through a few more channels and settled on another program that was bright and colorful. “Inho!”
“Coming!” He got a muffled shout from downstairs. Inho was probably helping his mom in the back of the restaurant kitchen. It was Saturday and near lunchtime.
“Ajusshi?”
He was wearing Gihun’s apron, sleeves rolled up to his elbows and fingers covered in flour.
“Wash your hands,” He gestured toward the sink and retreated to the bedroom. Inho did as he was told. He gave his little brother a pat on the head before following Gihun and closing the door behind him.
“What is the meaning of this?” Gihun demanded as he yanked the incriminating bag of evidence out from its hiding spot once more. Hwang Inho blinked.
“Oh, it’s protection,” He said simply. “For sex. You promised we’d finally do it after I graduate, remember? The graduation ceremony is next week.”
“Did I?”
“Last December,” Inho dabbed at the beads of sweat on his brow and sat down, “you said that if I finished the academy with good grades, you would give me whatever I wanted. I finished No. 1 in my class year.”
“I meant–” Gihun stared at him, “like a vacation somewhere nice or new clothes or something…”
“I don’t want a nice vacation or new clothes,” Inho said, looking crestfallen, “I want you, ajusshi.”
“But I’m…too old. You should…”
Be with someone better. You could do much better than me. This is just a phase. You’ll move on.
It was the same set of argument points they’d gone over a million times. Gihun trailed off under the boy’s reproachful gaze. Inho shuffled over and took both of his hands in his.
“Ajusshi,” He said quietly, “you already know how I feel…”
He did. Hwang Inho had written him essays of exactly how he felt. Gihun had been a bit of a local heart throb when he’d been younger. He’d received a ton of notes and confessions from girls in highschool. But it was nothing like this, and certainly not from a wide-eyed twenty-year-old who had shown up on his doorstep and thrust a whole-ass novel in Gihun’s face confessing the extent of his feelings just a month after meeting him.
All for what? Because Gihun had acted like a decent human being when the kid’s baby brother wandered into his shop after getting lost on his way home? And yes, a tiny part of him was preening from the attention (he still had it after all these years), but mostly, it was terrifying to be on the receiving end of such affections from someone so young and–
“It’s ok if you’re not ready,” Inho was saying. He stroked a thumb over Gihun’s knuckles, “but I just want you to know that my feelings will not change and I am not going anywhere.”
He looked so serious. Gihun bit his lip.
“Ok,” He mumbled after a while.
Inho’s grip tightened slightly. “Ok…what?”
“We can…” He trailed off, face going hot, “you know, after you graduate.”
“Really?” Inho asked excitedly. He dragged Gihun into a hug.
“Oww, you’re crushing me.”
“Sorry, I’m just so happy I–”
The bedroom door clicked open. Junho’s head poked inside. “Hyung, I want a juice box.”
“No, you have to eat lunch first,” Inho told him, still clutching Gihun to his chest, “go wait outside. I’ll make you lunch.” He waited for the little boy to shuffle back out before adding in Gihun’s ear, “ajusshi, we need a lock on this door.”
The weather was beautiful on the day of Inho’s graduation. Gihun had dug out his best suit (coincidentally the one he had worn on his wedding day) and ironed out every single wrinkle for the event. Oh Mal-soon had dressed Junho in a KNPU sweatshirt and white shorts with little shiny black shoes. Gihun bought flowers from a vendor down the street, and they arrived extra early for the best seats.
Inho was the first in line, dressed in his crisp uniform, hair slicked back and strikingly handsome. Gihun watched him scan the crowd, expression tense until they locked eyes. He gave the kid a small wave and smiled. Inho stared back, and then he ducked down and quickly rubbed his knuckles over his eyes.
Oh.
Gihun’s heart seized in his chest. Inho looked back up, eyes suspiciously red rimmed, his jaw clenched tight.
I love you. I’m so proud of you. He wanted to say all of it, shout it out for the world to hear, but they were too far away, so Gihun raised his hand high and waved once more. Inho waved back this time, blinking rapidly to stop himself from crying again.
“Yours?” The middle aged woman in the yellow sundress next to Gihun asked.
He dabbed at his own wet eyes. “Yeah, mine.”
“You and your wife must be proud,” She said, smiling as her gaze fell to the little boy balanced on Gihun’s hip. “Is this the younger one?”
“What?” That tore his attention back. Junho was sucking his fist, huge brown eyes watching the woman. Gihun pulled his hand out of his mouth.
“Your younger son?” She repeated.
“Oh, he’s…uh,” Gihun’s face burned. “Yes, he’s the younger one.”
The principal had stepped onto the podium. He breathed a sigh of relief when she turned away. Gihun kept his eyes firmly on the large screen as the man began his speech. He didn’t want to look at his mother. She probably already suspected the worst when Inho had moved his cot from the living room couch onto the floor of Gihun’s bedroom a few weeks ago. He hadn’t crawled into Gihun’s bed yet, but the threat of that possibility was imminent, especially in light of Inho’s recent questionable purchases.
He closed shop that evening for a special celebration of their new graduate. Sangwoo even took the evening off to join in on the festivities. He had been adamantly against Gihun taking in a grown man of mysterious origins until Junho climbed into his lap one day, yanked the cigarette out of his mouth, and fell asleep on him. He had been a goner ever since. He’d even gone so far as to get Junho into a private kindergarten ten minutes away from Gihun’s restaurant.
“More juice?” His childhood friend asked, Junho balanced on one suit-clad leg. The child nodded as Gihun took away the empty carton with the chewed up straw.
“He’s had four already today,” Gihun said, pushing strands of hair out of Junho’s eyes. It was getting long in the front. He set up a mental reminder to give the toddler a haircut later that week. “You’re going to be up all night from the excess sugar. Drink some water, Junho.”
“Just one more?” Sangwoo pleaded for him when Junho grabbed him by the tie and stuck his lower lip out.
“No,” Gihun said firmly, “Jungbae, keep an eye on these two. No more juice.”
“You heard him,” Jungbae said, flicking cigarette ash into an empty cup, “I’m in charge now.”
“Put that out,” Sangwoo frowned at him, shielding Junho from the waft of smoke, “not in front of the baby.”
“Saebyeok,” Gihun called out to the two girls sprawled in the back snacking on fries.
She glanced up lazily. “What?”
“Be nice to Inho for one day?” He suggested. Ji-yeong stole her diet coke and finished the last dregs. Gihun accepted the empty glass on his tray.
“What are you talking about? I’m always nice to Inho,” Kang Saebyeok lied without batting an eye.
Ji-yeong turned to her. “You literally made fun of his face like two minutes ago.”
She elbowed Ji-yeong.
“Please?” Gihun said, fighting his smile.
They hadn’t gotten off to the best start. Inho had mistaken her for a thief when he caught her taking money out of Gihun’s register the first time they crossed paths. Gihun had come back to the restaurant to find two screaming kids – one handcuffed to the radiator still spitting and cursing and the other with angry red scratches all down his face and a fresh set of bleeding teeth marks on his wrist.
“You're going to make him cry.”
“A girl can dream,” She rolled her eyes, a fry pinned between her teeth like a cigarette, and kicked her feet onto Ji-yeong’s lap. “Get me another diet coke and I’ll consider your proposal, ajusshi.”
“Do I really have a weird smile?” Inho asked him that evening, his hair still wet from the shower.
“What?” Gihun frowned, “who said you– was it Kang Saebyeok again? I told her not to be mean today.”
He pouted as Gihun pinched his cheeks affectionately between his hands.
“You have a beautiful smile,” He told Inho sincerely, “perfect in every way.”
“Ajusshi…”
He grunted in surprise as the boy leaned in and pushed his mouth against his. Inho had kissed him before, but it felt different this time. The intent behind the gesture more…urgent and sexual. He was manhandled onto his back. Inho’s hand slid under his thin t-shirt and trailed slowly over his ribs. He thumbed at a nipple, rolled and pinched it into hardness. Gihun gasped, hips twitching at the sensation.
“Wait,” He panted against Inho’s mouth, “what if they’re not asleep yet?”
His mother and Junho were right down the hall. She was partially deaf from old age, but the walls were paper thin in the apartment. Junho had chugged so much juice today. What if he had to get up and use the bathroom while they were…?
“It’s ok,” Inho insisted, sucking a line of stinging kisses down the side of Gihun’s neck. He dragged the loose boxers down Gihun’s hip and grabbed a handful of his ass. He was already hard. Gihun could feel the heated line of his cock against his thigh. “I’ll be careful, ajusshi. Please don’t make me wait any longer.”
“Just…” Gihun sucked in a shaky breath. His heart pounded in his chest, “go easy on me. I’m not exactly young and spry anymore.”
He took the fingers well enough, but Inho’s actual dick proved to be…difficult.
“Relax,” Inho groaned as the head slipped out again. There was lube smeared everywhere. The open tube was lying on its side at Gihun’s elbow, half empty now.
“I’m trying,” He pushed out between his teeth, “can’t you just shove it in like ripping off a bandaid?”
Inho sat back and pouted, “but I don’t want to hurt you.”
“You’re big,” He muttered, trying not to glance down there, “it’s going to hurt regardless…”
The pout grew larger. “Ajusshi.”
“I’m sorry,” Gihun said.
“It’s my fault for not having any experience,” Inho sighed glumly, “can I try again?”
He kept his gaze resolutely on the ceiling. “Yeah.”
Fingers prodded at his wet entrance again. Gihun tried to relax his muscles down there. Inho’s fingers were scissoring inside him, and then the blunt head pushed halfway in. He shifted, bearing down this time, and Inho let out a shocked whimper as he finally slid past the tight ring of muscle.
“Ajusshi,” He gasped as he pushed all the way in, “you’re so tight.”
Gihun slapped his hands over the boy’s lower face, trying desperately to make him shut up. Inho took his wrist and laid a kiss in the center of his palm. His warm breath tickled. Gihun shivered all over, clenching unconsciously around the thick cock spearing him open and making Inho moan.
“Can I,” He licked his lips and stared down at Gihun with wild eyes, “can I move now?”
His ears were burning. Gihun threw an arm over his face and nodded choppily.
“Ajusshi,” Inho whispered again, starting to thrust gently up into him. Gihun whimpered, muscles jumping in his thigh as the kid ran a shaky hand over bare skin.
“You’re so beautiful,” He said shyly.
Gihun wound his arms around his neck and pushed his nose into Inho’s cheek, “Inho, s-stop talking.”
“But you are,” He said, so sincere and so full of wonder and reverence. Tears built in Gihun’s eyes. He dragged the boy closer. Gathered him tightly into his arms and held on for dear life.
“I love you so much,” Inho murmured, kissing the corner of his mouth, his cheek, the side of his neck, “you are the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and thank you for letting me have this with you.”
He sped up and swallowed Gihun’s gasping cries with an open-mouthed kiss. The clumsy uncoordinated thrusts managed to get him over the prostate a few times, and the head of his leaking dick rubbing up against Inho’s hard abs was enough to get Gihun off.
“Oh, fuck,” He sobbed, arching up into the solid body fucking into him and knees shaking around Inho’s still flexing hips. Gihun turned away when the kid leaned in to lap up some of the pearly white stuff that had streaked all the way up his heaving chest. Inho bit one of his nipples, tongue swirling around the small sensitive bud as he picked up speed, chasing his own release with his eyes closed, soft whimpering breaths escaping his parted lips.
It was so much. Gihun bit his wrist to stop himself from screaming when the boy slammed into him the last few times hard enough to make his toes curl. Inho stilled, entire body locking stiff as he came deep inside the warm tight clutch of Gihun’s body. He kissed Gihun again, sloppy and wet and too enthusiastic, a faint hint of salt still lingering on his tongue. Gihun’s ass spasmed as the kid slowly eased his dick out and tied off the filled condom. Inho pushed his sweat slicked hair out of his eyes and gulped down a few gasping breaths.
“Can we go again?” He asked hopefully. His pupils were still blown wide with excitement. Gihun glanced down between his legs at the angry red thing sticking up from a thatch of wiry pubic hair and bit his lip.
“Please?” The kicked puppy look was back. How could he ever say no to that face?
Gihun cupped his cheek and kissed him, a gentle brush of lips against lips. Inho sighed happily as he spread his thighs for the kid to crawl back in between.
Inho made him sit on top next, and then he pushed Gihun onto his knees with his ass up in the air. The latter went so deep he came two more times, tears streaming down his face and biting the pillow to stop himself from waking up the whole neighborhood. Three had to be the limit. He had lost track of time. Gihun wasn’t even hard anymore. His cock was soft, sated, swinging along with the punishing thrusts against his prostate. Inho had pinned his legs up against his chest and was grounding into him from above, each dragging push and pull punching quiet little sobs out of him.
He was going to…again–
Gihun went rigid as the orgasm tore through him. The kid was relentless, rode him through it and more, tugging on his nipples and stimulating him further until he couldn’t keep his voice down anymore. His whole body felt like an exposed nerve, hot waves upon waves of agonizing bliss crashing over him until his mind went completely blank. Gihun hung suspended like that for some time before sense returned, and he heard–
“Ajusshi!”
Hands were patting his cheeks. Gihun blinked past tear-blurred eyes and saw Hwang Inho’s alarmed face slowly swim into focus.
“Ajusshi, are you ok?”
“A-ah, ha…” He was still shaking slightly, small aftershocks of pleasure tapdancing up his spine and mostly incoherent as his brain gradually rebooted. He pried his mouth open. “Wha…what happened?”
“Sorry,” Inho blushed, “I got a little carried away.”
There was a large wet spot beneath him, he realized with growing horror. Gihun screwed his eyes shut and turned his face into the wall, curling slowly into the fetal position. Humiliation burned in his gut.
“It’s ok, ajusshi, I’ll wash the bedding tomorrow,” Inho was saying as he pulled out fresh sheets from the closet. He quickly remade the bed and plastered himself against Gihun’s back.
“Go away,” Gihun muttered, slapping his wandering hand away from his abused nipple.
“It was so sexy,” The boy whispered, wedging his chin over Gihun’s shoulder, “ajusshi, you were incredible.”
“No more,” He snapped, trying and failing to wriggle out of Inho’s octopus-like embrace, “shut up and go to sleep.”
“Ok,” Inho kissed the back of his neck, “goodnight.”
He woke to sunlight filtering in through the thin blinds. The ancient wall AC had turned off during the night. Gihun was sweating. There was a hot body squirming restlessly against him. He sighed, still half-asleep, and tried to put some space between them. His clingy shadow followed. Something was poking him from behind.
“Aish…” He swatted blindly at Inho, “put it away.”
“S-sorry, ajusshi,” The boy groaned, thrusting between his damp thighs, “I woke up hard again.”
“How…”
He cracked open one eye. Inho’s hot breath fanned against his shoulder. His hands grabbed Gihun’s chest and squeezed. Gihun hissed and tried to squirm away. His nipples were sore. Everything ached. He was too old to be having this much sex.
“Oh, a-ah, fuck,” Inho whimpered after a few minutes. Wet warmth soaked between his legs. The kid gave a full-bodied shudder behind him and went still.
“You’re handwashing everything, by the way,” Gihun griped, finally ripping those rough hands away from his chest. “Get off of me.”
“I’m sorry,” Inho said, brushing a kiss against his ankle and scrambling back before Gihun could actually land the kick somewhere it would really hurt, “I’ll go make breakfast. Don’t be mad, ajusshi.”
The door eased shut behind him. Gihun heard muffled voices outside. The AC finally cycled back on. He rolled over and sighed at the wash of cool air on bare skin. Inho’s cum was starting to dry between his irritated thighs. He was too tired to care and dosed back off to sleep.
He bought a watermelon from the nearby market that afternoon, cut it in half, and sat on the back steps of their small yard with Junho to watch his older brother struggle with laundry. Sweat had soaked through the wifebeater on Hwang Inho’s back. Gihun could make out the imprint of his abdominal muscles under the almost sheer fabric as he wrung the sheets dry.
It was a very nice view.
Gihun fed a piece of watermelon to Junho. His cheeks ballooned as he chewed. Sticky pink juice had dribbled all down the front of Junho’s favorite Ultraman t-shirt.
“Can we add one more to your load?” Gihun called out to him. Inho squinted at them. He pointed to Junho’s soiled shirt.
“Yeah,” He grunted, wiping at the sweat pouring down his face with his forearm. “Put it in that pile over there. I’ll deal with it.”
“Come here,” Gihun beckoned at him.
The kid staggered over obediently. Gihun scooped a piece of the watermelon center, the sweetest part, and held the spoon up to Hwang Inho’s face. He ate it and smiled as he chewed, staring at Gihun the whole time.
The air was sticky and sweet with the scent of summer. A warm breeze swept through, rustling vibrant sun-soaked leaves overhead and tugging on the corners of the clean sheets Inho had hung up.
“Let’s go for a vacation next week,” Gihun decided, peering up at him. “I saved up a little money on the side. You deserve a treat.”
The smile he got shone brighter than the sun.
Fin.
