Chapter Text
The alpha growled in his ear, his scent flooding the omega's nostrils. “I can feel your pheromones coming inside of me, omega.”
Jeongguk nods at his laptop screen. Perfect.
Fridays are always great days of the week for a variety of reasons, mainly that the weekend immediately follows, weekends that Jeongguk never takes for granted, especially when they're allowed to rest and not be preoccupied with work for the time being. They all love Fridays like tonight, but Jeongguk differs from them for one very specific reason.
”A-Alpha,” Namjoon whined, gripping at Jungkook's massive alpha muscles. “T-The others… they'll hear us.”
Jungkook scoffed, licking up Namjoon's neck before nibbling at his jaw. “Let them hear us, baby grill.”
Jeongguk almost misses the spelling mistake. That would've been embarrassing if he hadn't caught it sooner. He's not always good at fixing errors in his writing, but he doesn't really have anyone trustworthy to beta read his stuff, so he's forced to do his best and be his own proofreader. Not the best, but he's been able to manage.
”Let them hear us, baby girl.”
There we go.
What was Jeongguk going to say? Oh yeah, Fridays and the weekends that follow give him all the time in the world to indulge in his new favorite pastime: writing fanfiction of him and his bandmates.
Jeongguk was always vaguely aware of the fanfiction that Armys made. It was sort of a funny little joke between him and the other members. Sometimes, when they'd be drunk and bored, they'd open up a browser called Archive Of Our Own, shortened to AO3, and look through the works underneath their group name.
Admittedly, Jeongguk didn't know how to feel at first. He was still so young and it felt a bit strange seeing himself described in such… vulgar ways, especially through the fictional point of view of another member. He couldn't tell if the writers were just being humorous or if they genuinely believed that was how they all saw each other.
As the years passed on, though, Jeongguk slowly but surely came to terms with his… weird feelings. Feelings he used to blame on naive adolescence and puberty and hormones and quite literally anything else that kept him from having to face the reality of them. He's not even fully sure when it started. All he knows is that it started with Namjoon all the way back and, one by one, his other hyungs started getting dragged in.
It's funny being attracted to six different people at the same time. Morbidly hilarious, actually. Maybe a little miserable as he doesn't really have anyone to confide in. Well, he has Mingyu and the other 97 liners, but frankly, even his feelings feel too personal to the group to share with anyone outside of it.
In short, Jeongguk accidentally got himself in a shitty predicament of chronic loneliness with the lack of an actual outlet to share his emotions with.
That's when, in the middle of one night where he laid awake in anxious thought, he remembered the fanfiction. It took him a minute to recall the name, but soon enough, he was on his phone and face-to-face with the home page of AO3. When his eyes fell on the search bar, he chewed at his lip.
It felt… wrong, in a weird way. Jeongguk heard a voice in his head telling him that this was uncharted territory, that whatever he'd find on this website would've been too damaging to his already-fragile mind. This wasn't the way to handle his feelings. Fictional fantasies written by outsiders with no real understanding of him or the others were not the substitute.
The ethics were messy, and yet that didn't stop Jeongguk from searching up their group name and exploring the vast ocean of fan works for him to try his hand at consuming.
Just one, he had tried to convince himself. Just one and then he'd close the tab and go to sleep, never returning to the site again. Just one to relieve the itch.
…
Safe to say, Jeongguk didn't stop at one.
Since that night, he'd set up his own account to save his favorite works, rereading them wherever he went (and wherever he had privacy). Armys were such talented writers, he’d come to learn. So many incredible stories he'd pull all-nighters just to finish, sometimes left with a big smile and flutter in his heart and sometimes left with tears and painful sadness that made him depressed for a week.
The amount of lies he's had to come up with to explain his episodes of depression without admitting the somewhat embarrassing truth is beyond count.
Well, maybe not as embarrassing as his private bookmarks.
That's another thing Jeongguk has come to learn about himself: he's a pervert, specifically with his other members.
Sure, there are plenty stories in there about him and one, two, even all six members having… passionate sexual relations, to put it poetically, but if he's being honest, a large chunk of them are stories that don't even involve him. There's something so weirdly stimulating about reading about two, three, or more of your friends getting it on with each other. It felt voyeuristic, almost, the kind of taboo that made you feel ashamed in the best kind of way, the kind of way that made you high off the adrenaline, the rebellion, the selfish indulgence of it all.
Most importantly, it was just really fucking hot reading about his friends losing control and making each other feel good. He wholeheartedly believes that even if he didn't have feelings for all of them, he still would've enjoyed those stories all the same.
What can he say? Jeongguk's nothing but a pervert.
He's so much of a pervert that not even the countless stories by Armys were enough. No, he needed more, something more in tune to his highly specific needs and desires. Taking up writing his own fanfiction was the obvious answer.
Since that day he took his fantasies into his own hands, he's released about seven stories, a mix of one shots and chaptered works both ongoing and complete. Jeongguk wasn't sure if he wanted to publish his works publicly, but he was so proud of his first story, a simple one shot involving himself and Taehyung on a picnic date he'd spent way too much free time daydreaming over, that he figured Army deserved to read it, too.
And so now, here he is on a Friday night, sitting in his bed, laptop on his lap, typing out his eighth planned story: an explicit omegaverse fic, first with alpha him and omega Namjoon (once again, he is nothing but a pervert), and after that, most likely him and the other six having a glorious orgy.
Jeongguk has never been happier. He’s sure his little omega Namjoon feels the same way, too. Now, to figure out the positions…
໒꒰˶ᵔ ³ ᵔ˶ ꒱ა
“Yoongi-ah!” Seokjin shouts from the door. “You were supposed to help me get the food inside!”
“Aish, it's literally just pizza boxes, hyung!” Yoongi counters.
Jeongguk giggles to himself as he overhears the two eldest arguing with each other. The whole group is over at his house right now, actually, so it's funny that Seokjin decided to single out Yoongi in particular.
They're all in the living room, though. Jeongguk, on the other hand, is still cooped up in his bedroom, having told them all that he “has to do something real quick”. That something in question is completing his weekly update of his omegaverse two-shot. He's managed to get almost all of it done in the past week, having pulled an all-nighter last night just to finish the scene where alpha Jimin rides beta Seokjin while omega Yoongi eats out alpha Hoseok (he's so progressive), all while having an evil smile on his face as he kicked his feet with inappropriate giddiness.
Anyways, Jeongguk is pretty much done with the chapter. All he's doing right now is putting it into AO3, along with some cheeky notes that he hopes his readers enjoy and informing them that he very much stayed up all night writing this. Once the preview looks good and there seems to be no glaring mistakes (hopefully), he swiftly presses the button to officially post.
Successfully updated and completed. That calls for a celebration.
Satisfied and also very tired, Jeongguk closes his laptop and slides off his bed, ready to spend the rest of the evening surrounded by the people (and food) he loves. He prays they've settled on a movie by now because the last thing he needs is to be a tiebreaker.
Just as he walks out the door of his bedroom, he hears something fall.
When Jeongguk turns to where the noise came from, he sees Seokjin near the kitchen staring down at something in the ground, eyes wide and mouth open. When Jeongguk starts walking towards him, he's able to see what he seems to have dropped: his phone.
“Hyung?” Jeongguk asks. “What ha-”
“Ah, Jeongguk!” Seokjin interrupts, quickly reaching down and swiping up his phone, shoving it frantically in his pocket. “You're back! That's great! Look, the pizza's here! Look!”
Jeongguk just keeps staring at Seokjin's seemingly stressed-out attitude, like he'd caught him doing something he wasn't supposed to do. Just when he's about to say something again, Seokjin suddenly puts his hands on his shoulders and aggressively turns him towards the living room. Lo and behold, the pizza boxes, one of which is already being eaten out of.
“Go on!” Seokjin insists, shoving Jeongguk forwards. “Enjoy the food with your other hyungs! In fact-,” he redirects his words to the rest of the members, “-I’m going to the bathroom really quick so you guys can start the movie without me alright cool bye!”
In the blink of an eye, Seokjin is gone.
Huh. That's weird.
Jeongguk tries not to worry about that, though. Instead, he turns his attention to the other five still seated in his living room. He doesn't have to get super close, however, to notice something was off with them, too.
None of them are looking up at him, for one. That's already enough cause for concern. He expects at least Jimin or Taehyung to be greeting him excitedly, dramatically complaining that he was gone for a million years or whatever. Instead, they're all looking at… their phones.
Sure, it's normal for a member or two to be messing around on their phone when they all hang out together. If anything, Jeongguk is the one that's on his phone the most. His fanfiction hobby has only worsened that habit.
All five of them, though? Plus Seokjin dropping his own phone earlier? What's going on? Did some big celebrity die or something? Please God, don't let it be IU noona. She cannot go before him.
“Uh,” he decides to bite the bullet, “what are you guys-”
“Nothing!” All five of them respond, slamming their phones face down on their thighs. Now they're looking at him.
Is this a joke? Are they all collectively messing with him?
Before Jeongguk can accuse them of such, Hoseok is scooting over to create a free space on the couch right at the edge. He pats a rapid hand on it. “Come on, Guk! T-The pizza's getting cold!”
“Y-Yeah!” Namjoon stutters out with a nervous smile. “Let's, uh, start the movie.”
An awkward collective of “yeah's” echo from the five. Jeongguk really really wants to figure out what the fuck they're all being weird about, but he isn't sure if he can handle their painful awkwardness any longer. So, he decides to let it go for now, walking over to the spot Hoseok graciously offered him.
Not before he grabs a somewhat cold pizza on the way over, though.
૮^˶•̀д•́˶^ა
Jeongguk isn't paying attention to the movie.
He's trying his best, really. He's fighting to keep his focus on it because the thing keeping his attention is stressing him the fuck out.
Seokjin had taken longer than “really quick” in the bathroom. Okay, no big deal. Maybe the pizza or whatever he ate earlier in the day didn’t sit well in his stomach. Then, as soon as he came back, it was only about three minutes max before Taehyung was standing up and heading to the bathroom. Jeongguk didn’t pay any mind to it until he started taking a suspiciously long time, too. In the moment, he honestly can’t help but assume the worst.
If they’re blowing up his fucking bathroom, he’s banning them from ever coming over to his home again, or at least until it’s properly decontaminated.
That’s when Jeongguk gets a notification from his phone. When he checks it, he sees it’s from his AO3-specific email. A comment on the chapter he just posted. Curious and trying to hide his glee, he tries to discreetly angle his phone screen to where Hoseok couldn’t possibly peep at it.

HOLY SHIT! That was SOOO good and hot and ohjfnjbsjalwihdlajffjksbkjds I literally can’t breathe rn I’m trying so hard not to scream cuz I’m with my friends 😭😭😭😭😭😭 THANK YOU FOR THIS FOODDDDD
Jeongguk has to fight to keep his smile down. He lets his feet tap with joy, though, knowing the others wouldn’t get suspicious from it because he stims like that all the time. He definitely wants to stim more, but that would manifest in him getting on his feet and hopping around his entire home while giggling.
That’s around the time when Taehyung comes back and Jeongguk swears he looks a little flushed. Probably doesn’t mean anything. As soon as he sits down, just when Jeongguk attempts to refocus, Jimin and Namjoon stand up at the same time. They both freeze and look at each other. Everyone else, especially Jeongguk, turns to look at them, too.
“Where are you going?” Namjoon asks.
“The bathroom?” Jimin answers rather unconfidently.
Namjoon’s eyebrows fly up. “Oh. I was… also going.”
Silence.
“Well,” Namjoon thins his lips, “can I go first?”
“I wanna go first.”
“So do I.”
“It’s urgent.”
“Same here.”
…
What the fuck is going on?
“Yah!” Seokjin calls out. “Just play rock paper scissors for it! I’m trying to watch!”
Just as Seokjin makes the suggestion, Jeongguk catches something moving from the corner of his eye, one that no one else seems to notice. He peeks over Hoseok’s shoulder only to see Yoongi sneaking off in the direction of the bathroom. Why are they all suddenly obsessed with going to the bathroom? Jeongguk is about one more member away from calling the movie off and driving them all to the nearest hospital.
“Yoongi hyung!” Jimin shouts, making Yoongi flinch and freeze midstep. “The fuck do you think you’re going?”
Yoongi turns around, an indescribable frustration glazing his eyes. “To the bathroom ‘cause you both are taking forever to decide!”
“We stood up first!” Jimin retaliates, gesturing a finger between him and Namjoon. “Get in li-!”
Yoongi doesn’t even let him finish his sentence before he’s turning back around and speed-walking over to the bathroom. Jimin really isn’t letting it slide because he’s running past Namjoon and chasing after him, calling out his name to no avail. Jeongguk hears the bathroom door slamming shut, followed by Jimin relentlessly tugging at the handle and cursing out profanities that Jeongguk swears he’s never heard uttered in his entire life.
“Jimin!” Namjoon finally speaks up in Jimin’s direction, a sense of defeat coating his words. “Let him! Just come back and wait!”
After a moment of no response, Jimin finally comes back into view, dragging his feet with his shoulders slouched, a deep scowl painting his face. One could probably conclude that Jimin is not very happy right now.
“What’s with you guys today?” Jeongguk blurts out, not really able to keep his confusion to himself anymore. Not after what he just witnessed.
As expected, everyone turns to him with a look of both puzzlement and slight fear. That isn’t very reassuring. Seokjin is the first to speak up. “What do you mean, kid?”
Jeongguk tries not to fixate on that petname he likes a little too much from Seokjin. “I dunno. Like, you guys are all on your phones and going to the bathroom a lot and it’s… it’s weird, no? You guys don’t notice that?”
The five in the room glance at each other, though it doesn’t feel like the kind of glances that people throw at each other when they’re all in on something. It almost feels like, now that Jeongguk finally pointed it out, they’re each starting to feel their own confusion. While that clears up his initial concern, it sprouts a new one: how the hell did none of them notice? It’s all so consistent, and yet they’re supposed to tell Jeongguk that they didn’t realize it until he said something?
All of that leads up to the real question at large: what are all five, no, six of them hiding? What are they all stressing out over individually, and why is it leading them to make the exact same decisions and potentially solutions? What kind of sick coincidence is this?
There’s not a single drop of alcohol on the coffee table and Jeongguk’s head is starting to mimic the pain he gets whenever he drinks too much. Strangely, he could probably still use a drink right about now.
Too much time passes where none of them are giving Jeongguk an answer, so he just sighs and falls back against the couch. “You know what? Nevermind, don’t worry about it. Let’s just… watch the movie.”
Least that seems like something they can all agree on.
For a few minutes, Jeongguk can distract himself from the weirdness and actually somewhat pay attention to the film. He’s lost all recollection of the plot at this point. Why are the actors in a random forest now? Weren’t they just in an office building? And why are they arguing?
Another notification. Jeongguk pulls out his phone to see yet another new comment on the chapter. Once again, he adjusts himself to read it in secret.

You don’t understand the things I had to go through just to find the time and space to read this update. So worth it.
I’ve never read omega Yoongi until this fic, and not to be dramatic or anything, but… I think I’m in love (˶˃ᆺ˂˶) safe to say I will be reading more of this from now on! (Also him eating out Hoseok was actually so hot. I’m shaking just remembering reading that part)
You’re my favorite BTS fic writer for a reason. Always knocking it out of the park. Thank you for your work as always! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧
The kaomojis. Jeongguk might just start crying in the middle of the living room. How adorable.
It almost reminds him of-
“Finally!” Jimin suddenly exclaims.
Jeongguk looks up to see Yoongi finally returning to the living room, hair more disheveled than it already was before. He flops down unceremoniously on his previous couch spot just as Jimin is already halfway out the living room. He can see Namjoon about to stand up, most likely to chase after him, but as soon as the bathroom door slams shut, echoing around the apartment, he curses under his breath and falls back down.
Ignore it, Jeongguk. Just ignore it. You'll stress yourself out more for no reason. Think about the comments. The really nice lovely passionate comments. There are so many things in life to appreciate right now. Everything is wonderful. No problems exist as long as you just ignore everything.
“Ah,” Namjoon suddenly vocalizes, looking down briefly at his phone, “sorry guys. I gotta, uh… take this message. Guk, can I use your bedroom?”
Jeongguk furrows his eyebrows. What kind of question is that? “Of course, hyung. Go ahead.”
Namjoon smiles at him, dimples showing, and Jeongguk wants to melt. With that, Namjoon swiftly gets off the couch and speeds it to his bedroom, shutting the door harshly. Gee, must be a real urgent message. For what, though?
Just as Jeongguk decides it's not something worth mulling over, he feels a tap on his shoulder.
“Psst,” Hoseok whispers. “Hey, Jeongguk, can we switch spots?”
…
“Huh?” Jeongguk responds, even more confused now.
“Please,” Hoseok pleads. “I, uh… wanna rest my arm on the… armrest.”
Never in Jeongguk's over decade-long friendship with Hoseok has he been this dumbfounded by his hyung. It's not even an insane request when taken at face value. Hell, it kind of makes sense.
Hoseok has literally never asked for something like that, though. Jeongguk wouldn't even be losing his mind over this if it had happened in any other context ever, not when he's being tormented by all six of them acting equally weird.
Is he overreacting? …Shit, probably.
“Guk?” Hoseok's voice pierces through his spiral.
Jeongguk just blinks and nods. “Oh, uh, yeah, sure. Totally, hyung.”
He gets up quickly, Hoseok following right after. They don't swap spots on the couch in the most smooth way possible, but they manage to move and that's all that matters.
Interestingly, as soon as Hoseok is seated, he's pulling out his phone and angling himself to where his screen isn't visible to Jeongguk's field of vision. Jeongguk expects him to be on it for a minute max, but his eyes are practically glued to the screen, a screen with a suspiciously low brightness, too.
Hoseok's brightness is normally way too damn high.
Even when Jimin finally returns, wiping at his forehead as he sits down on the couch like nothing, Hoseok doesn't even spare a glance. He seems, to put it informally, locked the fuck into whatever he's scrolling through.
Jeongguk tries to put his attention back onto the movie, a random ass fight scene playing out between characters he doesn't even recall existing in the movie earlier. No matter how entertaining it appears, however, he finds himself side-eyeing Hoseok as discreetly as he can. Before he knows it, he's analyzing every slight movement in his face, noting how his gaze trembles and his lip bites and how the red in his cheeks seems to glow brighter and brighter.
God, what is he looking at? Jeongguk shouldn't care but his anxiety is through the roof and everyone around him is behaving so weirdly and Namjoon is still in his room when he knows damn well no “important message” should be taking this long.
A thought comes to him, a sick one in the form of a plan. A plan to try and peep at whatever Hoseok is so fixated on right now. Fuck, it's not his business, he knows it's not, but he just… can't. He can't deal with this any longer or else he's going to actually snap. He needs something, anything to hold onto as knowledge. He needs some form of answer to his worries.
And since Jeongguk has known Hoseok for so long, he knows exactly how to do just that.
Carefully, he leans slightly towards him. “Psst, hyung?”
Hoseok flinches, snapping his head up. “Huh? What's up?”
“Can you get me a glass of water?” Jeongguk tries to ask as innocently as possible.
“Oh! Uh- yeah, of course! Hold up.”
Doesn't even question it. The privileges of being the youngest.
Hoseok places his phone down where he's sitting and gets up, heading over to Jeongguk's kitchen. Jeongguk doesn't watch him leave, however, as his eyes remain glued to the phone.
With a quick glance back to make sure no one was looking in his direction, Jeongguk snatches the phone and unlocks it with Hoseok's passcode that he's memorized by heart. Well, it's his hyung's fault for not switching over to facial recognition like most of them have.
As soon as the phone is unlocked, Jeongguk is met with a screen that his kind immediately recognizes.
AO3? What the fuck?
Jeongguk curses at himself for having that be his first thought. Who the hell is he to judge his hyung reading what he's assuming to be fanfiction? In fact, now that he knows that this is what Hoseok's been acting weird over, Jeongguk feels a slight weight lift from his shoulders.
Fanfiction. It's just fanfiction. What kind? Jeongguk shouldn't pry, but… now that he's here…
He sees that Hoseok's screen is at the end of the story, right where the comment box is. Jeongguk also notices that he'd opened the comment section. Two so far. Must be a new work. No, an update, because he sees the “previous chapter” button.
When Jeongguk scrolls down just to take a little peep at a comment, he freezes.

He's seeing things. Jeongguk is hallucinating. His brain is making him see things that aren't there.
Maybe this individual likes to comment the exact same thing on every fic's second chapter. Yeah, definitely. Odd, for sure, but harmless. A funny coincidence, even.
He scrolls down to the second comment.

I’ve never read omega Yoongi until this fic, and not to be dramatic or anything, but-
That's all Jeongguk manages to read before his thumb starts acting on its own accord and furiously swipes up to the top of the fic. If the title of the fic is what he fucking thinks it is-
Temptation Has Never Been Sweeter
stariannights
That's the title. That's his handle.
Hoseok is reading his goddamn …sevensome omegaverse orgy? Fuck, whatever, it's a porn fic where all seven of them are swapping slick and popping knots. When did Hoseok ever read shit like this?
Fuck, holy shit, Jeongguk wrote that. Hoseok has no clue that he wrote it. Why couldn't it have been literally any other fanfic of anyone or anything else? What does he even do with this information? How on earth is he supposed to go about this? Ignore it? It'll eat him alive if he does. Confront him? That'll also eat him alive. Tell the truth? He'd rather die.
“Jeongguk?” Hoseok's voice calls from behind. “The fuck are you doing?”
…
He's right behind me, isn't he? Jeongguk thinks in horror as he stares off into an imaginary camera.
Maybe he should've kept the stories to himself.
