Chapter Text
To say Lana was pissed would be an understatement. She had been ripped from her apartment in her pajamas onto an alien ship and had a crawling worm jammed into her eye. The underlying fear was there as well, but she only saw red as she squirmed in her pod. She always had what she thought was an irrational fear of aliens, and while she was glad that it wasn’t unreasonable, she would’ve preferred to remain ignorant.
To her short relief, she could see a few people enter the room she was in. At least two who looked more humanoid than the squid monster as they ran around beyond her pod as she tried to scream and pound on the glass. Whether they heard her or not, they gave no indication. As they got closer, searching for something, her relief evaporated. She slowed her fists as she saw the two strangers clearly now. One was a lanky woman with green skin and silver armor. And while green skin was odd, Lana could hardly believe her eyes as she saw the tallest person she’d ever seen. This person also seemed to be covered in white scales and have a dragon’s head.
Now she was in deep shit.
The two strangers were clearly arguing over something, and she decided to stay quiet. These two were clearly not from Earth either, which meant that they wouldn’t be any help in getting her home. For all she knew, they were in league with the squid monsters. So, instead, she watched as they found a slab on a corpse near her pod before they left the room. Lana let out the breath she had been holding as she realized that her anger had dissipated.
Lana leaned against the back of her pod, wondering what was going to happen to her now. There was no way out, and she had no idea if they were even still on Earth. Probably not, given the two beings that had just left. Still, she pushed the fear down, unwilling to let it consume her.
