Work Text:
Nick came down from the ladder, the star safely ensconced on the top of the tree and moved it out of the way. Charlie looked over and grinned, waiting for his cue and Nick’s arm around his waist, before pushing the button to set the tree lights glowing.
“We’re finally here,” Nick said, kissing his boyfriend's curls.
“Our own place, our own tree, our own fireplace, our own Christmas cookies.” Charlie nodded, wrapping his arms around Nick in return.
“Where do you want to start?” Nick smiled, leaning down to kiss Charlie deeply.
“There’s no one to interrupt, right here!”
