Summary
Fred Weasley finds himself in his 16 year old body, first assuming this is nothing more than a walking daydream he and George had been working on... but things are a little too real. He can taste and feel things he shouldn't be able to, feel things that shouldn't be possible. It takes a moment for the reality to set in that he has some how been sent back to his younger self, long before the war truly starts.
How will Fred handle being alone in the past, could he ever explain what's coming to his twin? Did he even want to?
What's worse, Snape keeps staring at the time displaced wizard, unnerving the lad beyond anything else. It wasn't fun having Dumbledore's murderer staring him down like this.

i just love luna 🥰
fav/memorable moments ⚠️ SPOILERS ⚠️
Fred didn’t get very far before running into a slightly familiar face.
“Luna?” He questioned, seeing the young girl standing in the window ledge with no shoes on.
She turned around slowly, tilting her head slightly as she took in his appearance.
“Hello Fred Weasley.” Her dreamy tone pause, head tilting to the side. “You’re not the Fred Weasley I was expecting… or are you?”
All the wizard could do was stare, leaning slightly against the wall for support.
“You’d know better than I Luna.” He tried to force a smirk, but it looked more like a grimace.
The girl tilted her head the other way, a frown forming on her lips.
“You aren’t the same Fred.” She stated. “You’ve seen things. Terrible, terrible things.”
Luna stepped out of the window ledge rather gracefully, almost gliding over to him like a ghost.“You-your saying I should tell him?” His words were quiet, almost hushed.
He hadn’t wanted to tell this George. This younger version of his twin was still a kid, he shouldn’t have to be worried about the war or his siblings dying.
“If he were in you’re place…” Luna paused, pushing open the Hospital wing door with her free hand as she continued. “Would you want your younger self to know?”The boy smiled, eyes landing on the young girl at his side. He was mighty grateful Luna hand been inspired to stand in that window ledge, today of all days. She’d righted him while he was floundering. Reminded him that he didn’t have to do this alone.
The girl was right, more times than anyone would ever know. -
