So this is how it is?
Eunhyuk is currently lying on the bed.
He is tired.
"Don't you have work today?"
Eunyoo came banging the door of his room.
For lack of a better response he says,"no"
"No?.. okay" just how she came banging that's how she left banging the door closed.
What do I do now ? Do I have to go through this all over again?
*Sigh*
Eunyoo... She- .. I don't think I need worrying about her. She won't die so easily.
Should I go downstairs like I did last time? Do they need my help? ....uh right the ahjumma- if I don't go downstairs she might be able to go to her daughter and find her when there is still time.
I am hungry- huh- oh I'm not a monster anymore...not yet atleast..
*Sigh*
Did my symptoms already started showing this time around?... Then I can go outside and won't die possibly.
I'm hungry first-
Eunhyuk gets up from the bed and walks through the room lazily... Stoping at the hallway infront of a family portrait of theirs.
It feels like it's from many lifetimes ago.
Hyuk walks over to the fridge, opening it taking out a small tray of gimbab.
Should heat it up before eating
Hyuk turns on the stove putting the gimbab on the pan and heating it up which results in it almost burning
"Ahhh shibal!! Ah shi- was I supposed to put something else while heating it up?... Ah shi- fuckit! I'm eating cold!"
Turns out it wasn't as bad as hyuk think it would be cold but mostly anything nearly homemade was supposed to taste heavenly for eunhyuk at this point anyway.
I wasn't supposed to get a chance of eating like this anyway.
Now what do I do?
Hyuk sat looking out of the window. "It already started isn't it? The chaos?"
Hyuk got up from his seat, walking over the apartment to the door. "Should i take something to kill?" Hyuk made a U-turn to the kitchen and took all different sized knifes and put it in various places on his clothes. "Khaja! Let's see how everyone is doing."
With that hyuk left his apartment, death is waiting around the corner but why should he bother? It won't be able to touch him anyway. Atleast not now.
Hyuk was walking down the stairs of the 16th floor and you won't believe what he saw! The rise of the protein monster cuz the hell!
Is he the one who is going to be that giant of a creature which made a shit out of our already shit life?!
There in the hallway stood a lanky short boy with glasses who had a protein shake in his hand and a dumbbell in the other one and pool of clotted black blood was running down his nose and he was doing squats. Hyuk stood there at the end of the corridor watching the guy's body turning slowly into the giant enormous creature he'd end up being.
Ah right- your deepest desire, huh?
Hyuk shook his head and started walking down the stairs anyway.
14th floor... This one.. uh! Doosik- It's his floor no?
Would he freak out if I drop by to say hi?
Who am I kidding?
He walked for the corridor anyway.
Is there no one else besides me who knows it's not the first time? Is this really time travelling? Or is this the monster trapping me in my head to get full control over my body?
But that happened before...
And it didn't felt like this...
It didn't felt so real.
And there it was... No, not dusik, but a couple of doors ahead it was jisu and Hyunsu. They were fighting with their lives to get rid of a female monster, terrified like kids.
Ah right- they are kids afterall.
Eunhyuk goes and grabs the monster by her hair and drags her till he reaches the stairs and throws her over the railing down the building.
Ah- the people are crowded at the ground floor no? Hope they already barricaded the door down the stairs.
Hyuk turns around and sees the dumbstruck reaction on the jisu and and hyunsu's faces.
"Hi..."
Hyuk, hyun and jisu are now in hyun's apartment.
Hyun is lying down, still dumbstruck with terror and jisu is sitting beside him curling into herself equally terrorised. Hyuk suddenly feels out of place.
"Should I tell you that these things are everywhere? Both inside and outside the building."
"Really? How did you know?" Jisu asked.
"I have already been downstairs. Check your phone"
Jisu look for her phone in the pocket while hyunsu sat up and frantically looked for his phone. They both found out... The alarm.
Jisu stood up to leave for her apartment. She did left.
Hyunsu looked over to eunhyuk. They were alone in the apartment now.
"I'll leave but can I have ramyeon first? There's too many stairs to climb down before I get to ground floor."
"Ah- the noodles"
Hynsu gets up and carefully looks through the peephole. There was nobody in sight.
He opens the door and cautiously gets out to grabs the noodle package and when he turns around he sees eunhyuk was grabbing a ramyeon pack from the ground and Hyun su goes hurriedly and grabs eunhyuk's arm dragging him to the apartment and slamming the door shut.
Hyunsu turns to eunhyuk and just pauses for a moment before retreating to his computer.
Eunhyuk cooks the ramyeon.

"Perfect. Come, it's ready"
Hyunsu get's out of his chair and sits in front of eunhyuk. Eunhyuk passes a bowl and chopsticks to him.
"The people are saying all about apocalypse like in the movies and dramas. Some are saying it's like zombie, if get Bitten you'll turn into one or other says it's an infection. But.... There was one profile, it said it's a curse."
Hyunsu must be talking about crucru. Should I say something? ... But is not there like butterfly effect or something? My different action could alter the courses of incidents and their outcomes... That could be dangerous. I'm already here sitting and not helping the others downstairs... Could there be more people dead because of this?
"What do you think?"
"Hmm?" Eyunhyuk gets out of his
trans. "I don't know-
I don't know"
They leave it at that and starts digging into the ramyeon.
That's then the crows flies into hyunsu's windows. Numerous birds flies accross the city like they are fleeing from something but if you're any wiser you'll know they are just loosing their heads and going nuts.
Eunhyuk can tell by the look on hyunsu's face that he is utterly shocked or maybe scared by this zombie like birds but eunhyuk can't help but feel a bit disinterested with this whole ordeal so he goes back to his noodles instead. Hyunsu goes near the window to enjoy the view outside...who am I kidding?
That is then it happens... Hyunsu's monsterification or whatever it's called. Hyunsu runs to the bathroom stands infront of the mirror looking at his reflection and sees his nose bleeding disturbingly.
Or is he seeing himself at all? Doesn't these fits take you into memories and tries to trap you there or make you tempted and give up? Is hyunsu having one of those visions now?
Hyunsu falls on the bathroom tiles with a thud, passed out. Eunhyuk keeps sitted infront of the ramyeon bowl.
Should I go and try to wake him up? But I shouldn't interfare should I? I wasn't here the first time arround anyway. Hyunsu would be ok.
Hyuk sat there looking at the ramyeon bowl where there is still a little ramyeon left.
"Ah shibal!" Let's take him out of bathroom at least.
Hyuk drags hyun out of the bathroom and cleans the blood from his face.
Hyuk takes the dishes and cleans them.
Hyuk cleans the floor where hyunsu's blood splattered earlier. Cleans the rug with which he wiped the floor. Gives a wash to the sink too.
There is no more work to do. I can do nothing but wait now for hyunsu to wake up.
Eunhyuk sits beside hyunsu's seemingly lifeless body.... For hours.
It's been long... Too long. Did it take this much time last time too? Should I do something? Why is he taking so long to wake up?
Eunhyuk could feel the very familiar feeling of anxiety peeking it's head at the pit of his stomach.
Eunhyuk couldn't wait any longer... He sits up and kneels before hyunsu, hovering over him. Eunhyuk was about to slap hyunsu hard when hyunsu's eyeballs twitch under his eyeleeds. Hyunsu peers through his eyes and hyuk let's out a breath he didn't noticed he was holding.
"Welcome back"
Hyuk sits back with a heavy thud.
Hyunsu slowly sits up... As if still contemplating his reality.
Hyuk gets up and goes around to seek and drag out a mattress.
"I've ran out of today's battery. I'm sleeping over.... Move!" Hyuk nudges hyunsu so he scoots over and hyuk lays the mattress and makes the bed before preparing to go under the sheets.
When hyuk finally goes to lie down hyunsu speaks up... For the first time after waking up.
"I'm turning..."
Hyuk pauses for a moment before finally lying down, tucking the blanket under his chin, making himself comfortable.
"... Into a monster" hyunsu speaks up again.
Hyuk sighs.
Hyuk tilts his head up from the pillow and looks at hyunsu.
"Do you feel like eating me?"
"... No"
"Then you're fine" with that hyuk goes back to sleep.
Later that night hyuk felt the mattress dipping beside him, letting him know that hyunsu didn't spent the whole night brooding over this fateful ordeal.
When Hyunsu woke up next day his mattress was cold beside him and for a moment he thought it was all a bad dream but then he looked outside and that was all it took to convince him there is no escape.
That was also the last time he saw hyuk.
