For a few months now, Adam had been working on himself. He really seemed like he had changed... I mean, he was talking to people he seemed like he'd have no interest in, he was nice to Lucifer of all people! After months of staying at the hotel, Adam's judgement day had came.
"You've changed a lot, Adam. You'll surely be let back into heaven!" Lucifer spoke
"Yeah, yeah.. Update me on your life when I do, shortass. Toodaloo!" Adam replied as he disappeared into the conference room.
Lucifer let out a soft sigh, looking at his phone as he got slightly infuriated with how Adam was acting toward him in the moment. He didn't like being spoken to in such an unprofessional way, especially by him... But hey, he's changed for the better now, right? He probably didn't me-
"WHAT?!" Adam screamed out from the other room, cutting off Lucifer's thought process as he peaked through the door.
"Everyone saw what you done, Adam... They saw your actions, it was all streamed." Sera replied to his scream in a gentle tone.
"That's... That's absolute bullshit! I have been in this business for ages and you- you wont take me back?! I'm the same fucking Adam I was then! I am THE Adam! I... I don't belong here, Sera... please don't leave me here." He whimpered out
"You don't understand, Adam. It's not just that stream, it's the trial too. Your soul... I just can't keep defending you for any longer. I let this happen to you" Sera said, becoming more serious.
"Defending?! I came up with a fucking solution to your stupid fucking problem! I did what no other dared to do! I..." Adams voice broke as he spoke
"I'm sorry Adam, but the answer is no. G-Goodbye..." She reassured him, slowly leaving the room.
"Wait no! You can't fucking leave me here! I'm not a fucking freak, Sera... I don't want to stay in this stupid freakshow! You can't do this to me damn it, I'm the first man! The dickmaster!" He spoke with a sob. "Please... Sera... Don't abandon me here... Fuckk!..." He cried out as he rested his head in his hands.
Lucifer saw his breakdown as he slowly walked towards him, gently hugging him.
"Hey, hey... It's going to be okay, Adam." Lucifer spoke gently, rubbing his back.
"No!- No it won't be fine!" Adam shouted as he stood up, pushing away Lucifer "You know what? Every nice thing I said about you? Absolute bullshit! Yeah, that's right. I don't fucking care about you. You left me back in Eden! And... and I'm fucking leaving you now! Yeah, see how it feels now. I'm gonna be... the greatest fucking demon Hell has ever seen! Just you wait, Morningstar. Just you wait."
Adam left the meeting room, leaving Lucifer to process what had just happened. Greatest demon Hell has seen? Yeah I doubt it... but god did it hurt when he said he didn't care about Lucifer. He was probably just saying it in a fit of rage, yes, but god knows what will happen now...
