The crew docks at an island that feels warm and welcoming. But only for the first day. Zoro isn't sure what changed overnight but the island has an unsettling feeling to it. He wasn't certain if it was the island or someone who recently appeared on it. When Luffy comes back from the island alone, he can't help but feel as if something is wrong. He goes to look for Sanji, who was ditched by Luffy. Zoro and Sanji always had this connection between one another. The both of them could easily sense the presence of the other. Back on the ship, Zoro could sense the cook. Now that he stepped foot on the island, the feeling vanished. To make a long story short, Sanji becomes affected by a devil fruit user. He wakes up with the undying urge to throw himself at Zoro. Because he loves Zoro? Sanji clings to him, follows him everywhere, and will not give him 2 seconds to be alone. If Zoro denies his love, he cries. If Zoro tries to push him away, he starts putting himself down. "Am I not good enough?" "Did I do something wrong?" "Why are you mad at me Zoro?" "Don't you love me?". Zoro swears he's living some sort of hell. At least he has someone to confide in when the whole world feels like it's closing in around him.

Zoro wasn’t even the first to notice. He’d been laying out on the deck pretending to sleep so that Usopp would pick someone else to help him with repairs to the crow’s nest. Nami, the only one smart enough to realize he was faking it, had stepped up beside him.
“Is Sanji wearing a corset?”
And suddenly Zoro was not pretending to sleep.
