When the betrothal between Princess Rhaenyra and Ser Laenor was being discussed on Driftmark there was an official meeting in front of all the Lords and Ladies present. Along with the prospective bride and groom were their dragons. What if Seasmoke decided to try a mating dance with Syrax? What if our Golden Lady responded . . less than enthusiastically? For you see like our dear Princess, Syrax also had a particular mate in mind and none other would do. In fact she takes his mating call as an insult and responds in kind.
