Summary
Navia looks at her, eyes bright and wide- and a smile breaks out on her face. This close to the girl, Clorinde is able to trace the freckles that coat the girls skin like constellations. She wishes to reach out, to touch them, to trace them.
“Clorinde, right?” Navia asks- and Clorinde finds herself tongue-tied in the worst of moments. She nods her head dumbly, starstruck by the shorter girl. “I like your name. Wanna be my friend?”

Clorinde squints her eye open, glancing at Navia out of the corner of her eye. “Scars are easy to hide, especially one on my arm. I’m more so concerned for my soulmate.”
“Oh, now you care for your soulmate?”
“Maybe I do.”
Navia’s jaw clenches for just a moment- and then she’s reaching forward, pinching Clorinde’s arm hard. Clorinde yelps in pain, Navia winces- “What was that for!?”
Navia's reply doesn't come for a long while, staring off at the same patch of skin she just pinched.
“...Nothing,” She answers, tone a little… far away. She scoots closer to Clorinde, minding all the places on her body that were injured (Clorinde is truly impressed at the fact that Navia can tell where she is injured, even though she didn't tell her). “I was just testing something.”
