A Heart Untraveled

Summary:

Nobody is a villain in their own story. We're all the heroes of our own stories. - George R. R. Martin

It is all a matter of perspective.

Notes:

I do not own any part of the Marvel Universe. This is slightly Alternate Universe (AU) for the Marvel universe. I call it canon-adjacent.

The title of this work comes from an Oliver Goldsmith poem, “The Traveller” specifically these lines:
“Where'er I roam, whatever realms to see,
My heart untravelled, fondly turns to thee;
Still to my brother turns, with ceaseless pain,
And drags at each remove a lengthening chain.”

What you interpret these lines to mean is up to you.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Recent visit to Dr. Elliot Randolph, a historic folklore professor in Spain, Asgard-adjacent studies. Dr. Randolph stated visit was purely professional.
Also suspicious visits to Veteran's Affairs office, Stark Tower's human resources department, the Russian embassy, and access to gamma-ray research among the other more highly secured projects

UPDATE:
Due to Chitari invasion of New York, investigation into Dr. Inluk suspended until safety of more important persons of interest can be confirmed and secured.

----
The file said Sigrid Inluk was a person of interest.
The file did not say she had once been the woman whose arrow had been aimed at a god’s heart. And that he had struck her heart in a different way.
Files rarely share the important things.
