Cere was halfway finished braiding Merrin's hair when Cal returned, heavy footsteps falling on the ramp of the Mantis,
"You're early," she noted dryly, "Find what you're looking for?"
"No, I don' think so,"
At the slight slur of his words Cere looked up, seeing Cal sway slightly immediately set off alarm bells in her brain. But, seeing no blood she shushed them in favour of letting Cal explain. She raised an eyebrow at him, but got no further when Merrin cut her off,
"Great Mother, what happened to you?"

OR: Cal goes back to Bracca, accidentally inhales some drugs from the club he'd tried scoping some information from and freaks out the Mantis Crew.
