The caves underneath Hyrule had been plaguing anyone who went into them— each and every person falling ill. Some plagued to their beds and others needing to seek shelter in an infirmary the capital of Hyrule had only found need for when the Gloom appeared.
The Gloom was inherently dangerous, dark malicious intent keeping each and every person from getting close.
Zelda, Princess of Hyrule, found herself intrigued by this malice. It was reminiscent of a time she had fought to forget, but after the Fall of Ganon, and the Revival of Hyrule, she had a new and revitalized Courage in herself. Her sealing powers were unlike anything else, and with her late Father's appointed knight at her side, she knew they would withstand any enemy that sought to defeat them and take Hyrule for themselves.
Walking through the dark, nerve-wracking caves themselves was a whole different beast. She was nervous, but only because the knowledge hiding within this darkness could change the future of Hyrule. What was the reason this plague had spread from underneath the castle? Where was the answers and how come her studies never seemed to tell her enough information?
Link walked a foot in front of her, soothing her nerves with his presence alone.
He signed to her with one hand, the other holding the hilt of his sword, "Stay alert, Princess." Link warned, before the familiar sound of flapping wings echoed in the cave.
With two quick slashes of the Sword that Seals the Darkness— the Master Sword— the Keese fell and hit the cave floor before she could even think to panic.
Keese were so persistent these days, Zelda thought as she tightened up, torch held tightly in one hand.
Passing a statue, her eyes drifted to its large size.
"The..." She waved to Link, who looked towards her immediately, "The Zonai were..." She looked up at their long ears and animal like faces, "Those ears." She signed, gesturing to her own. "They're similar to Hyrulean ears. Do you think we descended from them?" She gestured, pointing to both of them.
He shrugged, taking the torch and looking at the statue as she pulled out the Purah Pad to snap a few photos to bring back to Robbie and Purah.
They kept walking down the hall, down a flight of stairs, and into a large room that seemed darker than the rest, one simple torch lighting one of the walls.
"Link," Zelda waved to her appointed knight, getting his attention as she quickly signed his name to him with one hand, the other holding the torch lighting the dark cave. "Yes?" He signed back, one hand on the hilt of his sword.
Carefully, she placed her torch on a nearby wall sconce, the frame fitting the torch easily. "The murals," She gestured to the wall, "The Zonai—" She fingerspelled, to which he corrected with the sign for Zonai, a signed pinky Z with an O following in the same position, like the Z was in a ring. Rings were a common theme with Zonai mural art, so he made up a sign for their convenience.
"Right." Zelda nodded, continuing, "They mention a lot of The Demon King," she lined the stone carved wall with her finger , pointing to a dark figure surrounded by Gloom. "How he fought the First King of Hyrule and then... The Imprisonment War..." Link nodded, following thus far, looking around at another mural.
His mind wandered... Away from the murals and to the day he lost his hearing... Back years and years ago...
He had lost his hearing during their first fight against the gang of Ganon's controlled Guardians. The intense beeping blaring in his ears until three blasts circled around him, the lasers hitting the ground at just the exact same moment to blast out his eardrums. The injuries resulted in him losing 70% of hearing in his right ear and 55% in his left.
The last thing he had heard was Zelda yelling for him, her voice desperately trying to reach his ears as they began to bleed.
But still, even after the Shrine of Resurrection, the damage was done. He could feel the residual scars from his past life— one he was fond of but still wasn't sure was his own.
His gaze followed over to Zelda. Her voice that sometimes still carried to his ears in their most intimate moments was a fond and familiar sound— he missed when he could hear it all the time.
He really loved the way she expressed herself now, after the beginnings of the rebuilding of Hyrule. The way Zelda spoke, her signing wild and carefree. Her lips, how sweet and soft they felt against his skin. Her hands, how delicate her nails are. Her short, cropped hair falling around her face. Her hips and the way they fell into soft, plush thighs.
Her beauty amazed him all the time. How was he so lucky? His thoughts trailed off until he suddenly tuned back in as she waved her hands excitedly, "Link!" She exclaimed, and if he wasn't deaf, her high pitched yells would have deafened him immediately.
"This is amazing! What a discovery!" She waved her hands around, signing wildly in excitement. Zelda grabbed her Purah Pad, swinging it around so it was in front of her, excitement plastered on her features as she took photo after photo of the murals.
"Let's keep going." She signed, pointing to the steps in the far corner that must have lead deeper, putting away the Purah Pad and going to grab her torch.
"One moment." He stopped her in her tracks as she tried to move, his hand touching her shoulder, "Wanna rest a second?" Link hinted, head tilting towards her as he smirked at her.
"Really? Are you tired? The Keese here are ferocious in their tenacity, aren't they?" The firelight from the torch on the wall made it hard to see, but at least it wasn't pitch black, Zelda thought to herself as she moved towards him. She squinted to see him, scanning him up and down for injuries, only to see what he meant.
A blush lined her cheeks, all the way to the tips of her ears, "Link!" She flushed, her hands coming up to playfully push him, to which he laughed. A delicate, soft and gentle laugh. She hardly ever heard it but it was like chiming bells every time Zelda got to hear it.
She could feel her heart melt as he tried once more to lean in close, his hands carefully resting on her hips as he brought her towards him by her waist. "It'll only be a minute," he finally spoke, his voice sounding like honey to her ears, "Then we can get back to nerding out." He smiled, planting a small kiss against the corner of her lips.
"Link..." She melted against him, his nose lining against her ear as Link planted more kisses along her neck and jawline. "Just a couple minutes, Princess, I'll make it worthwhile." She could never resist his voice. He saved his words just for her, his sweet voice was all hers to hear whenever she wanted— or even more sweet, whenever he wanted something from her.
"You're insatiable." Zelda giggled, her hand brushing back his hair from his face, a smile playing on her lips.
He sighed, shrugging with a knowing look on his face. "I can't help it." Link quipped, turning them around so he could pick her up and prop her against the wall.
"Not very dignified of a Princess..." She pouted, to which he laughed, leaning in to press kisses against her neck above the neckline of her top. "It's okay, Princess. Dignity is overrated." He joked as he pulled her top over head, piece by piece her blouse fell away and onto the stone floor.
"Says the one who never has to wear the royal garb because I said you don't have to— Link!" He bit her neck, a soft spot that always drove her wild. "It's stuffy," he complained, using one hand to pull his shirt off his head, the belts falling away as they fell down his hips and onto the floor.
"Imagine how that dress feels—" She was interrupted by a soft groan falling from her hips as he started to grind against her. "You're getting desperate." She pointed out, sighs and soft pants falling from her lips.
"What?" He leaned in again, so focused on the way he felt grinding against her that he wasn't actively listening, "You're desperate." She commented once more, a moan spilling from her again.
"Nah." He retorted, but Zelda didn't believe him for even a second, his actions saying differently.
Link was practically straining out of his pants, still keeping her up with his insane amount of strength as she leaned full body against the wall. He marveled at her breasts, stuck behind a pale blue bralette.
"So pretty..." He whispered to himself, to which she blushed heavily once more, pink dusting her cheeks up to the edges of her ears, even creeping down to her chest.
Even the simplest of words drove her crazy— his voice was so pure, so soft and heartfelt, especially in moments like this.
He was focused once more on pulling her pants down, their position preventing him from getting them down.
"Down." She signed to him, waving in front of his face to get his attention again. He quickly put her down, to which she shoved her pants down and turned around, pants bunched around her shin-high boots. Zelda leaned over, her back arched as she moved into position.
She didn't even have all of her clothes off, but Link could tell she was getting just as desperate as he was. She turned her head towards him, one hand pulling down her underwear, "Hurry up!" Zelda called.
"Okay, okay!" He hurriedly shucked off his pants and underwear, tugging them past his boots and tossing them away.
He spat into his hand, slowly giving himself a couple strokes before closing the gap and lining up with her pussy.
"Link—" She quickly gasped as he pushed in, sinking in easily with how wet she was.
"Holy Hylia!" The princess moaned, hands dragging down the stone wall, head hanging down as she tried to stay upright and in position.
"Hold on." He tapped her lower back, shuffling her legs further apart as he lifted her hips to angle better as he gripped her hips.
Link began to thrust like he was going to die if he didn't pleasure the Princess— like his life depended on making her cum before him. "Hgnh..." He moaned, garbled in sound as it got caught in his throat.
"Goddess, Link!" She moaned, hands losing purchase on the wall as she fell into it, him following as he leaned over her and caught her by her shoulder, his legs strong as he held the position of pistoning in and out of her.
"Zelda," He whispered into her ear, "Don't fall." His voice melted her, heavily seductive as the implication hit her.
Of course he'd protect her— even if it was from hitting her head against a wall. Whatever they faced, he would always be there.
Her eyes welled up in tears as she pushed against the wall again, meeting him in his thrusts as he stood true.
"Make me cum, Link." Zelda demanded, her voice warbled by her tears threatening to flow down her cheeks.
"Yes, Princess." Link smiled, pulling her by her hips into him, grinding into her every so often as he kept up a quick and hard rhythm.
Soon after this kept up, she could feel it. "Oh, Goddess, Link—" Zelda tightened her thighs as she felt warm liquid spill down into her pants.
She squirted. She had actually squirted.
"Holy Hylia— Zelda, did you—?" He was cut off by her hand raising and grabbing his hair, pulling him into her shoulder as she rode out her orgasm.
Her pussy tightened and flexed around his cock, his thrusting becoming harder as she forced his cock in and out of her.
He could feel his orgasm about to come crashing down onto him like a waterfall, the feeling of her pussy gripping him driving him up a wall. Link quickly thrust in one more time before stuttering and thrusting in as deep as he could, emptying his balls into her, a deep moan following.
She grabbed his hip with her other shaking hand, pulling him close as he came into her, "Link, holy fuck." Zelda sighed, coming down from the high of orgasm as he finished into her.
Slowly after a minute, they started to move, him pulling out of her and her lifting from her position to stand.
"Ow, my back." She complained, hands flying to her lower back as she stretched to try and get the kink out.
"Princess?" He was already getting his shirt on as he looked over to her, signing to her, pants and underwear already back on.
"And my— oh no." She looked down her thighs at all the liquid that had traveled into her pants. "Link... I soiled my pants. I—" He laughed, outward and loud.
"This isn't funny! If anyone sees this they're going to think I peed in my pants!" She shouted.
He shucked his pants off once more before tossing them towards her, "Put these on." He waved and signed passively.
"But what about—?"
"No one will question it. I go without clothes all the time." He signed, eyes drifting over her naked form still.
She frowned at him, tilting her head in disappointment.
"Of course. My head knight. My personal swordsman. Walking around the area naked." She remembered all the times she had seen him during her consistent and what felt like unending fight against Ganon.
All the times she had seen him naked running around, all the times he'd ran around the Gerudo desert trying to avoid the heat by getting as naked as possible without being thrown out of civilizations.
"Nevermind. Everybody in every area of Hyrule and beyond has seen what you..." She trailed off as he stood there, as innocent as ever in his undergarments, "...have going on..." She finished, before clearing her throat and putting his pants on.
Quickly, she grabbed her blouse, putting it on before adjusting her clothes so that she was inconspicuous to anyone that saw her later.
"Let's continue?" He gestured towards the tunnel she had pointed to earlier, grabbing the torch for her, eyes scanning up and down her figure as she walked towards the tunnel.
"Let's." She confirmed, blush lining her cheeks once more as she passed him.
Goddess, the thoughts he planted in her head... The things he could do were endless. She knew this tunnel was going to be scary, but at least Link was there. Always there for her, protecting her.
