The weekend alone

Summary:

Goth's sure his feelings are normal.
EVERY son admires their father and gets angry whenever he kisses Geno...

Right?..

The weekend he's alone with Reaper, due to Geno leaving to help his brother, might show otherwise...

Chapter 1: departure

Chapter Text

"I'll be off," Geno said, a huffed sigh leaving his lips, sliding the last paper into his bag.

Goth glanced over from the sink, the water splashing water up as he hummed.
"Why are you leaving, again? I don't want to be stuck alone with DAD all weekend. He's gonna bug me about death puns again without you here to stop him!" He complains.

The God in mention poked his skull from where he was napping, lazily grinning "awww come on my little scythe! Not MY fault you're not a.... mourning...person" his lazy grin grew.

The younger adult simply stared, sockets narrowing slowly, before widening "OH my God.-"

"Yes my child?" Reaper butted in- which earned that groan only an embarrassed son could make.

His mother shook his head as he let out a chuckle, finding his family's bickering amusing. Sliding his bag over his shoulder he walked into the kitchen connected to the living room.
"Because Error needs help, he'd been going through a lot and Fresh doesn't know how to....well... you know how he is with emotions." He pats Goth on the skull, before pressing and hugging his baby. "I'll be back soon, and you and your childish father can call me every night if you'd wish."

Goth hugged the older skeleton back, jaw resting on his mother's shoulder as he sighed. "Yeah yeah..."

Geno pulled back, and pat his hooded skull one last time, before smirking playfully "realistically in leaving your father with YOU" he said as Reaper let out an offending sound.

Goth snickered as he watched his mother move to the couch to yank the God's hood, lifting him up easily.
"Don't let the house burn down AGAIN." Geno said, cheeks tinting red as Reaper snickered "not my fault I can't cook, I never HAD to before you-" Geno cut him off with an annoying kiss.

Goth cringed, looking away as he turned off the sink, it was always gross seeing them kiss - any child would feel that way...

The anger that swells at the sight.

It's normal...

One last goodbye and Geno left, leaving the two gods alone for the weekend.
