Five times Yassen helped Alex and the one time Alex helped Yassen

Summary:

“Hello, Little Alex”

“What do you want?”

“It’s quite late isn’t it?”The Russian said.

Now that he mentioned it it was quite dark out. The sun was almost done setting and There weren’t many people out anymore.

“I can get back home on my own fine,”Alex said.

“I’m sure you can, but I’m also sure in doing that you’ll somehow manage to start a Civil War”

Notes:

Chapter 1: It's quite late isn't it?

Chapter Text

Alex stumbled out of the ruined warehouse, into the alleyway near it.

Alex was tired, he wasn’t on a mission but spotted a few people sneaking into the warehouse, on his way back from school.

He was taking a different way back home than usual. Alex hid out in the warehouse, getting extremely uncomfortable in his school uniform.

An hour and a half later everyone had left and Alex was preparing to burn the building down, to get rid of the drug’s and any evidence that he was there.

Alex was ticking back the time until the building started to burn.

There was a lot of smoke coming from the windows.

He heard the sound of tires pulling up near him, thinking it was the police or some curious person wondering why he was here.

Alex hid until he heard the vehicle move past him.

He got up once he could not hear any noise and moved to retrieve his bike.

Alex saw a figure load his bike into a van, the van read Rob’s internet services on the side.

Alex ignored that, focusing on getting his bike back from the person attempting to steal it.

Alex got close and the figure turned around, he was smiling at him and he was Yassen Gregorovich.

Alex clenched his jaw, attempting to stop his teeth from chattering due to the cold.

Yassen finished loading his bike securely in the back and motioned for Alex to get into the passenger seat.

Too cold to care, Alex got inside and was hit with surprisingly warm air.

Yassen got in and got out a laptop.

“What do you need that for?”Alex asked.

“You were captured on a CCTV camera cycling into the area, I am simply getting rid of the evidence”

“Thanks”

A couple minutes later Yassen snapped the screen shut and turned to Alex.

“Is it warm enough?”Yassen asked, sounding sincere.

“Yeah its good”

Yassen nodded and put his seatbelt on, indicating that Alex did the same.

‘Just like Ian’ thought Alex as they made their way towards his house.

Alex was staring out the window lost in his thoughts, Yassen was shooting him occasional glances.

“Anything on your mind? Little Alex”

Sighing loudly Alex said”Jack is probably sick with worry by now”

“I’m sure she’ll understand,” Yassen said reassuringly.

“Maybe”

“Do you like music?” Yassen asked softly.

“Yeah, why?”

Yassen indicated to the radio, not taking his eyes off of the road.

Almost half an hour later they pulled up in a street about a block away from Alex’s house.

Yassen got Alex’s bike out for him, and as soon as Alex stepped out of the van he started to freeze.

Yassen on the other hand seemed completely fine with it, noticing Alex shiver Yassen pulled Alex in with an arm, giving him a sloppy one-armed hug.

As he led Alex and his bike until they were almost at his front door.

Yassen lent his bike against a pillar and fished in his pocket for a slip of paper, which had a phone number neatly written on it.

“This is my phone number, memorize it and then destroy the paper and don’t call unless it is an absolute emergency OK?” Yassen said slowly and clearly.

“ok”Alex replied, tucking the slip of paper into the trouser pocket.

Yassen stood still for a moment before squeezing Alex’s arm gently and placing a kiss on the crown of Alex’s head. But before Alex could say anything Yassen disappeared into the shadows.

Alex stood at his front door for a moment before entering, prepared to face the music of his short disappearance.
