--SWAT!
That was all it took for Polyblank to get back to his senses. Slowly he collected his thoughts and mind after daydreaming. It was like he had to reel his eyes back in front from the back of his head, as found himself in an environment he couldn't seem to process, now letting his radiant pupils rummage around the area he found himself in.
Two green lockers, with one leaning into the other. Was this familiar? No, Polyblank furrowed his eyebrows, still unsure.
He sniffed now, the -SWAT! - smell taking his attention. That ambiguous faint smell of old orchid flowers? Mmm, Still not it, as Polyblank shook his head.
The walls were horizontally elongated, though painted with -SLAP! - the color pale yellow and grey. Does this contradict that he was not in his apartment, but -SMACK! - at a train station? One glance at the ceiling was all it took for him to realize that he was really in an -WOOSH! - underground train station, but perhaps abandoned?
His eyes drifted downwards, back at the walls. Cube-like windows extended greatly from each other, though one was -SWISH! - especially hiding behind a familiar blackboard. He glanced at the obvious blackboard.
His pupils that emitted a low emerald glow now shrunk like lenses of a camera, eyes darting to see a drawing of some sort of capsule? Then a rectangular square with many other squares inside it, like a group. It was clear that this was drawn from white chalk, but Polyblank didn't seem to understand what the drawings even meant.
His pupils emitted a faint amethyst hue to the writing above the drawings, beginning to read.
'P.L.O. 編集者は住んでいます'-
-"Hey, ya better sit down and listen to what I'm gonna arrange for you first, then read it for yourself!" The Director snapped. That should be enough for Polyblank to finally realize where he was at.
Another swat was heard from the Director's direction, as the anthropomorphic alligator had attempted to swat a fly away again from his view with a fly swatter. The crocodile looked more focused and annoyed to the fly than Polyblank, which sighed in relief. Polyblank now straightened his posture like a soldier, one hand urging him to raise it to his forehead like a salute.
It was like a switch had flipped in his wirings and into his brain, his eyes widening as his expression went frigid from the sudden revelation of where he was.
Of course! Why had he seriously forgotten?! This immediately made Polyblank spiral into his searing thoughts of doubt and slight confusion, eyebrows creased in slight worry but mostly confusion. How had he ended up forgetting that he was called from the espionage? Especially the way he forgot his surroundings. This wasn't something he can't just ignore. Was it finally-?
Another swat was heard from the Director, was there a growl coming from him? Now, swatting all these doubts away from Polyblank and thankfully back to reality.
Finally, Polyblank can make a move on, and take a breather, as he stepped onto the radiant crimson rug with a luminous golden pattern. Polyblank's smiled brightly, his smile outnumbering the brilliant chandelier. He was thinking of trademarking this special grin of his. Back faced away from The Director, Polyblank was ready to take on a new, exciting mission! Especially an adventure, oh they always turn out fun for Polyblank! What adventures await? Whose secrets did he have to unravel? Where could he steal a meal for The Director to satisfy him like always?
All of this could just lead to some small side mission, but he was betting on horses to get an actual-
-"YOUCH!" Polyblank yelped, leaping out of his seat, his palms slapped to his backside like a bullet as he winced, shocked eyes shooting to see the surface of the train seat and the unexpected trap laid for his ass.
It was a god damn- damn, what the hell do you call that? Polyblank squinted, mentally scratching the top of his head in confusion. He tried to figure out what this device was, but nothing seem to ring in the spy's head.
A loud, baritone cackle came from behind Polyblank. He deadpanned, slowly turning his head to see The Director's roars of laughter, his crocodile snout poking out from where the mustache used to be.
The revelation hit Polyblank like a truck, and he furrowed his eyebrows at the conclusion. It was a damn plastic toy, where the crocodile bares its teeth and dares you to press a tooth down, risking losing your fingers. Polyblank didn't know how those plastic-like teeth felt razor-sharp when it bit his ass, probably because it was invented by this smug bastard behind the office desk, or that it was retrieved from a previous mission all the way back.
Soon Polyblank hesitantly moved the gaping crocodile away from his seat, and finally sat.
The Director soon started his monologue, explaining the mission which was already written down in a black-board.
