Dennis was busy doing chores around the house when suddenly there is a huge crashing sound against the door, like someone had hit it with a battering ram.
He went straight over to investigate and was shocked to see a swat team and Doctor Staple waiting on the other side for him "What do you want?" he growled defensively.
"We're here to take your kids!" one of the men yells, as they charge through the door, breaking it down.
Dennis's blood ran cold when he heard that as he pushed against the door with all his might.
Suddenly all the soldiers were in the house, knocking everything over and grabbing the kids roughly.
"Noo, don't touch them!" Dennis snarled.
They just knocked him over like he was a mere feather as they took the screaming kids out the door with them.
Dennis got up and ran outside catching up with them and started fighting them "Get your hands off them!" he growled punching one of them hard enough they fell on the ground.
The others pushed the kids into a black van where Dr. Staple got into the front seat, holding onto the twins, holding them up enough so he could see them through the window crying.
"Noo...give them back to me!" he screamed as he chased the van wondering why The Beast hadn't come out.
They speed down the road, leaving him in the dust. All that's left of them is Maggie's toy rabbit laying on the road.
"Noo...no..." he screams falling onto the ground in anguish.
The dust from the road swirls around him like a thick cloud, then suddenly he wakes up in his bed.
He gasps loudly as he woke up, he sat up as he panted deeply trying to regain his composure.
Elizabeth wakes up beside him and hugs him "You had a nightmare."
He closed his eyes trying to calm down before he remembered what his dream was about "The kids..." he panicked.
"The kids...what?"
He scrambled out of bed making a beeline to the twin's room first to see if they were okay. They were fast asleep still and cozy looking in their crib beds.
He sighed in relief before going to check on Maggie and Kevin as well. Maggie's asleep with her rabbit and Kev's asleep on the couch, he had fallen asleep watching cartoons.
Dennis relaxed seeing their sleeping faces and left them alone to sleep. He got his phone out and gave Bella a quick text to check she was okay.
She texts back she's fine and happy to hear from him.
He read it before staggering back into bed looking away from Elizabeth in embarrassment.
She just smiles warmly at him "I have dreams like that too sometimes."
"I didn't mean to wake you." he whispered apologetically.
"Nah, don't worry about it, I was about to get up anyways and take my shower before breakfast."
Dennis nodded still looking a little shaken up.
"It was a dream and that's all. Our babies are safe." she says walking into the bathroom to turn the shower on.
Dennis follows her in there not wanting to be alone.
"Oh, you joining me this morning?" she smirks, giving him a kiss.
He nodded, kissing her back hungrily.
"Come on then, it's nice and warm for us." she smiles and pulls his pj pants off.
Dennis moaned quietly as he watched her undress before getting in the shower with her.
She grabs the soapy sponge and rubs it all over his chest slowly. She always seemed to try to give tender loving care with everything she did for them.
He hummed happily as he relaxed into her touch.
"I'm so happy to see you relaxing babe."

Dennis hugged her back tightly, glad to have her in his arms.
"Don't worry about this type of dreams, they're not real and we all are safe." she kisses his face.
"I know it's just... it scared me, a lot" he admitted.
"I know baby, I've had the same kind of nightmares before, so I know what you mean."
"The Beast didn't come out in my dream...I felt so helpless." he cried a little when he said that.
"That's one thing he would never let happen, is let our children be taken from us. I trust that."
He nodded as he wept softly.
"Shhh darling, it's okay."
"I would never let them take them...I swear." he promised her.
"I know you wouldn't. You're so strong and loving and such a wonderful father." she whispers in his ear.
He tries to calm down with the help of her words and caresses, as he rested his head on her shoulder he started to give her little kisses wherever he could.
"Mmm yes babe, relax into it." she hums.
He keeps kissing her making his way up her neck, leaving a hickey as he did.
She giggles "Leaving your mark on me?"
He hummed in reply as he moved back to admire his handiwork.

"Let's get out before we prune up." she says as she turns the water off.
He nodded and followed her out of the tub.
They get dried and dressed, where Elizabeth gets food made for everyone. Maggie, Kev and the twins eats their pancakes with fruit.
Dennis watched them feeling relieved to see them sat here with him. Maggie gives him a big smile, shoving a big piece of pancake in her mouth.
He smiles back and ate his as well.
"Hey dad, will you help me with my lego project later today?" Kev asks him, while sipping his oj.
"Sure thing buddy, what are we building today?" he asked curiously.
"A big skyscraper. It's one of my tallest ones yet. My teacher told me it would win for sure at the school fair." Kev tells him.
"Yeah, that does sound pretty cool, why don't you bring it down and we can start it?" he suggested.
"It's halfway done; I just need help bringing it downstairs."
"No problem, I can do that." he smiled at him ruffling his hair.
"Thanks." Kev smiles back.
Dennis finished up and headed upstairs to get his Lego set.
Kev carries one end of the tray holding the Lego masterpiece on it and Dennis holds the other end as they come down the stairs slowly.
They reached the table and finally put it down carefully.
Kev lets out a big breath he didn't know he was holding "Wow..."
"Yeah, I'm glad we got it down in one piece." Dennis sighed.
"Alright let's get started on it." Kev says as he takes out the box of extra pieces to use on it.
Dennis started to organize the pieces into piles to make it easier to find them.
Kev begins to add every Lego with care, making them stick perfectly to each other, he had a way with making thing's perfect kind of like Dennis.
Dennis watched him proudly as he worked "It looks great Kev." he praised him.
"Thanks dad." he smiles widely.
Dennis smiled back as he passed him another block, he really enjoyed these moments with his son.
He keeps adding them and it takes them about an hour to finish and it's standing very tall. Kev brushes clear glue on the outside of the tower to keep it together. "All finished..." he high fives Dennis.
"Nice work buddy" he cheered as he high fived him back.
Kev hugs him "Love ya dad."
"I love you too son" he says warmly hugging her back.
Molly comes in the room "Oh wow, guys this looks great, what a wonderful job."
"Ahh it was mostly Kev here who did all the work." Dennis told her proudly.
She puts an arm around Kev's shoulders, giving him a little hug and kiss on his head "You did a great job sweetie."
Kev smiles "Thanks mom."
"Can't wait to see everyone's faces when they see this at the fair."
"Yeah, I'm sure they will be thrilled."
"It's definitely a winner, right Kev?"
"I hope so. I want to win it for you."
Dennis smiled at him "Thanks son."
"No problem." Kev smiles. Elizabeth peeks her head in the living area "Lunch is ready."
"Okay we're on our way." Dennis told her.

Later on, at night, everyone's in bed, Elizabeth's lying next to Dennis reading a book while he's watching the news on their small tv.
He was struggling to sleep after his dream the other night.
Elizabeth reaches over and light rubs his cheek to ease him as he slept. Dennis sighed as he felt her touch and leaned into it more.
She pulls on his shoulder lightly to get him to lay over with his head on her shoulder. "My sweet man..." she whispers.
He hummed in his sleep and rested on her soundly. She kisses his head over and over again, humming softly to him and he seems to relax more at her touch.
"Sleep my darling and dream good dreams."
