Chapter Text
Screams echoed around the park some of joy some of fear. Will slapped on some white facepaint putting together his ghostly costume ready for another night of haunted housework, he rolls his eyes at the loud people coming through the house, grabbing and popping in some fake fangs and adjusting his shirt, he did not get paid enough for this. He glanced in the mirror one more time looking at the fake blood messily smeared over his face and the sharp plastic triangles awkwardly sticking out of his mouth, before he could go to fix anything his manager called through the back, it was showtime.
He spent 30 minutes sitting behind a small door before bursting out in a hiss scaring kids and adults. Some run, some laugh at the distress of their friends, he's seen it all really, crying, vomit, fainting nothing surprises him anymore. He wanted his shift to be over so bad he kept constantly checking his watch as the seconds seem to tick by so slowly, jumping out as the single-file lines of people move through.
He had been squatting for almost 10 minutes before he heard the next group of people rushing through the house in a panicked pace he jumped ou,t putting on the scariest face he could muster but before he could register what was happening he was punched square in the face and he hit the ground hard looking back up at the tall blonde haired man who just added violence to the list of things, I guess he had really seen it all now he cringed. His nose started throbbing and he groaned as the man crouched down concern and guilt flooding his features "I'm so sorry, are you okay?" he spoke in a hushed voice as if the screaming of roller coasters and haunted houses strained his voice, Will simply rolled his eyes and got up holding his nose as it gushed blood and started moving through the house to the back leaving the guilty man behind.
When Will finally made it to the back he rushed over to the mirror to look at the already very purple blooming bruise in the middle of his face and sent side glares at the other actors who were taking the piss, he was really not having a good day. He went to the bathroom and started washing off the cheap white makeup and the mix of fake and real blood clinging to his skin, flinching
as he bumped his nose every now and then on his mission to be clean, his shift was over anyway and he just wanted to go home and lay in bed and hug his dogs.
