Will went through the usual morning routine; showering, brushing teeth, shaving, combing his hair. After his daily tasks he put his clothes on, grabbed his keys, wallet and phone and left home, locking the door behind him. He started the car and checked the text message Hannibal sent him.
'Good morning, dear Will! I trust you at least tried to have a good night's sleep last night? The reason for this text is because I would like to invite you to the opera with me tonight. You see, at the risk of ruining doctor-patient confidentiality, I have a rather insistent patient who will not take the hint I am not interested in him and hold feelings for someone else. I thought, perhaps, you might help me with my dilemma. Tell me, dear Will, does accompanying me to the opera as my fake date interest you?'
Will felt the smile spread across his face once more and before responding, replied with an emoji of two men holding hands with hearts around their heads. He hit send, then closed his phone and put it on the passenger seat.- tl;dr: fake date turns real trope w hannigram.
