Summary:

Some secrets aren't meant to be shared.

Work Text:

"So, what's the news you wanted to tell me," was her simple answer, then she laughs, following it up with, "Oh, that was it?"

Apollo doesn't know what to make of that, her already knowing the secret that Mr. Wright kept from her.

Well, the secret he kept from both of them.

Some secrets aren't meant to be shared, but this is definitely not one of them. How long was he planning on keeping it? Forever? What if something was to happen, and they found out in the worst way possible?

Though, that won't ever happen in this reality, since they both already know.

They're half-siblings.

Half-siblings, as in, they share blood, they're blood family, they're now siblings, they should treat each other as siblings, and that's it.

"If you knew, then why--"

He cuts himself off, afraid of the answer.

They both know what he's asking. She's always been very aware of the way his brain works, and whether that's because they're close, or they spend a lot of time together, or they're siblings... well, he doesn't really know. He just knows that for her, his heart is as easy to read as if it was sewn into her sleeve at all times.

Why would you take every opportunity to lean over me, to look at what's on my desk? Whether it's evidence or not, it doesn't matter because now, all i could tell is that you're really close to me, close and low enough to see the line dividing your breasts and --- god, why do you always seem to wear clothing that shows off every curve that I spend hours every night trying to get out of my head?

Why is it that you give me that bright smile while insisting that you'd give me anything, as long as I'd ask, when you and I know exactly what you mean and what you want?

Why is it that I have to think loudly to myself that you have no idea what you're saying, that you have no idea what you're asking, that you have no idea that I'm just a human being and not in any way able to resist earthly desires and temptations? Why is it that I was somehow wrong, that you seem to be dragging me along to ruin every moral standing that I thought I was standing firmly on?

Why is it that you look at me that way, pretending to mind your own business all while knowing that I've memorized every feature on your expression?

... All while knowing that you're more than a few years younger than me, that you're my boss' daughter, that this would already be wrong, but...

But also knowing that you and I are sister and brother?

"Why?" He croaks out again.

Trucy just

"Because I want it," she continues. "Isn't that enough?"

And, well, Apollo doesn't really know what to say to that. What else can he do but accept what she tells him?

-

That night, Trucy calls him brother and it sends shivers down his spine.

They've never done this before, but it feels natural, feels absolutely normal to run his hands along Trucy's skin and wonder how he got here. His mind is whispering, sister, sister, sister, but when Trucy's hand rests over his, the voices go silent.

When he pulls out the condom, she smacks it away, and before he can complain, she brings him in for a kiss on the lips. He closes his eyes, and for a moment, he can imagine someone else, but it just makes him more aware of the fact that he's kissing his sister and god, if Mr. Wright were to walk in on them now--

She palms the front of his slacks, rubbing directly on--

He'd kill Apollo.

(That does assume that Apollo wouldn't die from embarrassment and shame in the first place, though.)

And he almost couldn't care. They've gone this far already, why not go all the way? Because when Trucy leans in and whispers on the tip of her tongue, brother, he feels like pudding in her hands. With her warm breath at his ear, there's nothing he can do -- or want to do -- to stop this.

There's probably a special place in hell for not only men who sleep with their sister, but men who desire it, right?

That's beside the point right now, because Trucy's nimble fingers are unzipping his pants and he can't think about anything except for the way he burns at every spot their skin meets, even between layers of clothing.

There's no going back now.

That night, Trucy calls him brother and everything changes.
