Chapter Text

"Ah, fuck!" the explosive blond cried out when he slipped and ended up with a thick black mark halfway across his temple. He went to stab the stick back in its small container when he missed and got his finger black. "Shit!" he sighed as he put the thing back together and turned on the water to wash his hand.

"Bakugou? Is everything all right? How's it going?" The voice of Uraraka sounded from the other side of the door to the girl's bathroom. He grumbled before opening the door, glaring heavily at the girl.

"This is fucking awful, angel face. What the fuck. Show me how to fucking do this." He huffed, exhausted after his seventh try at getting a nice line. His eyes were starting to hurt from being rubbed and washed so much.

"Geez, wouldn't it have been easier if you had just started with that mindset?" The brunette teased as she stepped inside, grabbing a tissue to wipe away the dark mark on the side of the blonde's face. Red eyes glared as she picked up the black tube and touched herself to activate her quirk, floating up high enough to have a good angle to draw the line around his eye.

"Okay, so I usually start at the end," she said as she made a thin mark from the corner of his eye towards the end of his eyebrow, only going about a half a centimeter. "Next, I usually draw a line along my lash line back towards my first mark." Again, she dragged the brush from the center of his eye out to the first line, following his lashes. Her mark was a little darker this time around. She then moved the brush to the middle of that line and drew a line to the tip of her first mark, connecting them in a little triangle. "You want to connect the lines so you get this triangle thingy, so that you have an outline. It's kind of like drawing," she muttered as she began to paint on thicker lines as she filled her lines, smoothing them out and bring them closer to the inner corner. “Form that point, it's mostly just filling and refining. If you make a wrong mark, you can cover it with concealer."

"What the fuck is that," the blond asked as he noticed the new pencil she held instead of the tube.

"I'm going to do your lash line. Don't worry, it'll make the look more badass. Now look up," she smirked as she brought the pencil to the inner part of his lower lid, dragging the tip back and forth until the line of skin had been turned black.

"Fuck, that feels weird," he complained, blinking to prevent further irritation and hopefully rid himself of the slight threat at tears.

"You'll get used to it," she said as she grabbed a tube of mascara, uncapping it and coating the brush. "Now, we're going to finish you up with mascara! You're going to look gorgeous when I'm finished with you!" The grin the girl threw at him was a bit scary as she tugged at his lid to coat his lashes without marking his skin. "Done!"

Bakugou looked in the mirror, a bit thrown off by the fact only one of his eyes was done. The look was cool, though, he had to admit. He felt excited now, looking at what he could one day do.

"Now, you try!" She beamed as she handed him the tools. She guided him through the steps, fixing his mistakes as he went. Eventually, they came out with two nicely darkened eyes and a very self-satisfied Bakugou.

"Fuck yeah!" He grinned at his reflection, more excited about this then he thought he'd be.

"So, why did you want me to show you how to do this? You promised you'd tell me!" Uraraka asked from her new seat on the counter top, watching Bakugou admire and compare his work to hers.

"Well, I didn't want any gaps in my hero mask, and I read that some heroes wore eyeliner to blend the gap." Bakugou shrugged, his ears turning a slight pink as he made to leave the room.

"Then why don't you take it off?" She questioned, following him into her room. "I mean, we won't be in our costumes anytime soon, and dinner is shortly, so others would see you."

"Like I fucking care about that lot," the boy grumbled as he grabbed his bag from her bed. "Anyways, I'm going out." He turned and left before Uraraka could ask anything further, watching the boy saunter out of her room.

"Oh, he so has a date," She said out loud to herself, crossing her arms and smiling despite herself.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Coming!" Called a voice from inside the room. The boy in the hallway shifted his feet nervously as he waited for the other to open the door. He glanced around to make sure no one was around. Fucking stop it Katsuki! It doesn't fucking matter if anyone sees you, they all know you're friends or some shit.

"Hey Baku-" The voice stopped suddenly as mismatched eyes met red ones, widening at the boy in front of him.

"Hey, half 'n half," the blond boy greeted, watching as a slight pink rose to the other's cheeks.

"You look," Todoroki began, his face shifting into a fond smile as he tracked the other's expression, "nice."

"You too, you ready to go?" Bakugou asked quickly, ready to get out of the building where too many prying eyes resided.

"Absolutely." The resolute nod was enough for Bakugou, a grin finding its way to his face as the two-tone boy stepped through the doorway, closing the door behind him, and taking the other's hand in his.
