He does not pin him down - Sion never does - but he holds his hands and rests their foreheads together and there is a part of their hyung that does not exist anymore. That has died. “Riku-yah,” Sion breathes. “Riku-yah. You know that hyung loves you, right?” His breath is unsteady. “I’d lose my mind without you. You’re perfect.”
They do not talk about it, the things they should be talking about. They do not settle the guilt nor the pain nor the memory of their pup crying into their necks, begging for relief. It is just them again and again, in their early twenties, too young for the responsibility, keeping their chins high and making promises they can’t keep.
