Summary
"Let me help you, Kyungmin-ah," Hanjin whispers. It feels heavy in the almost silence, only the faint buzzing of the air conditioning and Kyungmin's deep pants to placate it. Hanjin lets the words linger for a second, then two. Flicks his eyes down to Kyungmin's lips, watches the way drool pools at his chin like he's helpless. Then:
"You don't have to do this alone."
Kyungmin burns. The sincerity in his voice hurts more than the heat cramps crawling through his abdomen, lighting his nerves on fire and leaving his legs aching. It hurts more than this shameful feeling of failure, like he's done something wrong, when really, he's done nothing at all. It cuts deep, through his skin, through his tendon, right to the bone. Until he’s raw and open and aching.
Or: Kyungmin goes into heat. Hanjin helps him through it, the only way he knows how.

Summary
He grabs Dohoon's face between his hands. It's meant to be teasing. It's meant to keep him in place, just a little longer, so Jihoon can stir in the victory and think about the warmth of Dohoon's cheeks between his palms for the rest of the night.
It's not meant to end like this: Dohoon, seemingly changing his mind, and instead moving closer to Jihoon almost on instinct. Jihoon's hands are slipping, and their faces are barrelling towards each other until Jihoon plants a small, faint kiss onto the corner of Dohoon's mouth.
Kyungmin misunderstands a few things. Dohoon lies a little, and Jihoon falls apart.

Summary
Dohoon sees it in his rigid posture, the way Junghwan's shoulders are always taut and pulled back, like there's not a moment in his day to rest. The way he always has a hand resting on his temple like it'll force the mind-bending headache away, and the tight-lipped smile he gives them at the dining table, when they're eating, and all he's doing is picking at his food and pondering.
He hates it. When Junghwan gets like this. Shuts himself off to the world like he doesn't matter, like it's for the good of everyone else.
It's why when Dohoon finds out they're roommates in Taiwan, he sees his opportunity, and takes it.
Or: Dohoon, Junghwan's favourite form of stress relief.

Summary
He's long past that Hanjin who'd burst into tears at the most inopportune moments, getting snot all over his face and having to have the others clean him up. Jihoon handing him tissues, Youngjae wiping his face so gently, Kyungmin clinging to his arm in comfort. He's learnt to hold his tongue, to keep those big feelings locked away in a box that he only opens when he's completely, truly alone. He's learned not to make a fuss.
This kind of vulnerability would bring it all crashing down. This — him unable to move on the bathroom floor, instincts overtaking any kind of rational thought, would have his capable, quiet demeanour crumbling.
When the members leave for the holidays, Hanjin finds himself going through an unexpected, late presentation. He intends to go through it alone — that's how he's always handled things, so why would he stop now?
But when Junghwan shows up, insistent on taking care of him, Hanjin finds he doesn’t have the heart to tell him no.

Summary
"Do you like it?" Dohoon asks, eyes drifting from the camera to Hanjin's sleeping form in his line of view, as the younger tosses and turns restlessly. Dohoon can't even fault him — he feels just as restless as the words tumble out of his mouth, each syllable laced with sickly honey and leaving his stomach sore with a deep, sickening desire.
The statement is broad enough that he can easily pass it off as fan service. But the way his phone vibrates a few seconds after confirms to him what he already knows is true — Junghwan is watching.
Or: Dohoon is a little too compliant on live. Junghwan likes it — far, far more than he should.
