Summary
If a fan asked Baku what his absolute favorite part of boxing is, he’d probably say winning.
But if he’s being honest with himself, his favorite part doesn’t have much to do with boxing at all. It’s not the adrenaline running through his veins as he fights, or the satisfaction of landing a well-executed punch. It’s not even the elation that soars in his heart when he’s standing over his downed opponent, no.
Baku’s favorite part is seeing the look on Go Hyuntak’s face after he wins. Meeting Gotak inside while the crowd is still roaring. Kissing Gotak against the lockers, tasting blood and victory and desire on Gotak’s tongue.

If anybody ever asks, Go Hyuntak will swear that things started out normal.
At least, as normal as things can get when you’re fucking your best friend who you’ve known since before you could even spell your own name. ‘Normal’ as in they’re not dating but at some point in their adolescent they were both curious teenagers with emerging libidos, and one thing led to another.
‘Normal’ as in most of their indecent activities used to occur on the bed instead of in the ungodliest, unsexiest places imaginable. ‘Normal’ as in, well, you know. They were regular old friends with benefits. They hung out. They fucked sometimes.
