Summary
It must be the dreamy, sappy atmosphere inherent to weddings that’s getting to her. She doesn’t know why else her heart would be in her throat like it is, or why her palms would be sweating where they’re resting on Ryuji’s shoulders. There’s no reason for her to feel like someone set a hundred butterflies loose in her chest. Although, now that she’s thought about her sweaty palms resting there on Ryuji’s shoulders, she becomes hyper-aware of every movement he makes, and how she can feel the muscles in his shoulders move beneath her hands. Her palms sweat more, her ears go warm and red.
Ryuji finally turns to look at her rather than the other couples on the dance floor, and her stomach drops to her feet. She looks away as soon as he looks over to her, unable to meet his gaze.

Summary
The first few years had been disasters.
Sakura-chan had nearly lost an arm trying to drag him home once. Kakashi-sensei had volunteered exactly one time and had ended up trapped in a frozen dimension for eight days until Sasuke had been himself enough to bring him back. Whenever asked about it, he’d muttered something about snow, rabbits and never doing that again.
Which left Naruto, because for whatever reason, Sasuke tolerated him when he got like this. Not happily, or willingly, and half the time Naruto still got threatened for it, but he was the only person Sasuke’s fever instincts put up with consistently.

Sasuke stops moving.
Naruto looks at him fully. “All of it.”
And Naruto says it like it is not a debt. Like Sasuke does not have to pay him back by staying.

Sasuke's eyes drop, and his hand tightens around his thigh.
"And I don't want to lose you," Naruto says. "Ever."
Sasuke looks up sharply. "Are you breaking up with me?"
