Yunho ran his hand through his friend's hair the way he knew he liked it, resting his palm at Mingi’s cheek as the creeping feeling of fondness mixed with pure wanting finally overtook him. And for once, Yunho let himself show his feelings so plainly. He was tired of hiding, tired of pretending he didn't want this, that he didn't want him.
Something was different today, Yunho noticed, the air between them was charged with something unnamed. Dangerous.
Mingi had an expression, the one that Yunho could never decipher until today. It was a firm stare that hardened into something more. Into something like hunger.

The last and most aggravating evidence, the most significant proof that Mingi must have been a bad person either in his previous life or maybe even in this life he was currently living: Mingi didn’t have a soulmark. Only bad people didn’t have soulmarks. Well, there were mass murderers with soulmarks so having one wasn’t proof that person was a good person, but everyone had soulmarks. Except Mingi. Mingi didn’t. Apparently, Mingi was such a bad person that he didn’t even deserve a soulmate.
