The idea that he might be listening to Will fuck someone else made his stomach drop. The hunger from before turned to nausea as an image of Will on top of some random, faceless girl flashed in his mind.

Suddenly feeling very grateful that their apartment had carpet instead of hardwood floors, Mike turned to leave as quietly as he could.
He’d only taken a single step when he heard the word, soft and low, drift out from under Will's bedroom door.
“Mike.”

Mike didn’t want to think too hard about what 'or' could mean...
Will has a problem. And when Will has a problem, Mike wants to find a solution. Simple, really. Nevermind that they're doing things best friends don't typically do, blurring lines and crossing boundaries between friendship and something more.
And if Mike starts to enjoy it, too, would that be so bad? Can they still be best friends if they can't keep their hands off each other? And, most importantly, how far will they let this go, and who will be the first to break?

He knew a hundred different ways he could have answered Will's question; a hundred different ways he probably should have. But Mike's mouth loved to move before his brain could catch up and now was no different.
"I can show you, if you want," he suggested.
It's the summer after their high school graduation and Will still hasn't had his first kiss yet. Mike offers to teach him all the different kinds of kisses there are. You know, like a best friend would.
