Summary
Please mind the trigger warnings.
Draco Malfoy hadn’t expected to ever see Hermione Granger again. Six months after the war, with Harry Potter dead and the Malfoy name barely spared from Azkaban, Draco returns to Hogwarts for a memorial ceremony he has no intention of attending. Instead, he finds Hermione alone, pregnant, and grieving.
Draco is forced to confront what his family knew, what they ignored, and how deep the rot in his own house truly went.
For Hermione Granger, the war did not end when Voldemort fell, and for Draco Malfoy, the greatest mercy he can offer may be staying far away from her.“So you did nothing.”
“Yes. I did nothing,” he snapped. “I was sixteen, and I did nothing. Then I was seventeen, and I did nothing. Then I stood in a courtroom while people called what I did brave because I failed to identify you properly. I did the smallest decent thing possible after years of cowardice, and they let me live for it. So no, Granger, I don’t expect you to think me innocent. I don’t even expect you to think me human most days.”
She blinked at him, her eyes glassy and unseeing.
"Come have tea at the manor."

Summary
The war was over, but for Draco Malfoy, everything was just beginning.
He had to ask Hermione Granger for help to free his mother from Azkaban.
Because it was Draco, not Harry, who had actually rescued Hermione that night at the manor.
Even though Hermione didn't want to, she negotiated with the Ministry for Narcissa's freedom.
But there was only one condition. At first, there was only hatred, anger, and guilt.
Then they began to see each other's broken sides from the war.
For the first time, Draco learned to act like a human, not a pureblood.
And by the time Hermione stopped pitying him, it was too late. #dramonie #dracomalfoy #hermionegranger #harrypotter #harrypotterfanfic

Summary
the war is over everywhere but inside hermione granger’s head, and draco malfoy hates her for it, because she is the one thing that drags him back to everything he’s done wrong. she barely speaks and won’t look at him, her silence and haunted eyes saying more than words ever could.
a string of attacks forces them to work alongside one another, fighting the remnants of a once-uncommon enemy, and the stakes only rise when the well-meaning ministry introduces a marriage law. draco is left to decide whether he will marry her, or leave her in the hands of another wizard, a fate which, to hermione, seems worse than azkaban.

Summary
Voldemort won the war. Harry Potter is dead
The wizarding world is ruled by blood and fear, while a plague, one Voldemort himself unleashed, devours the Muggle world beyond it.
Hermione Granger survives because she is claimed.
Draco Malfoy meant to use her brilliance to save a dying world. Instead, she is given to Lestrange.Denied that choice, Draco becomes her protector, determined to keep her alive long enough to stop a catastrophe Voldemort is content to watch burn.
This is not a story where love saves them.
It damns them together.Expect:
• Touch-starved romance
• Forced proximity
• Protective Draco
• A love that costs everything
