Summary
If there’s one word Kaveh could use to describe his life, it would be “ordinary”. Sure, the start of his life looks more like a sad drama movie with the death of his father, being abandoned by his mother, then being treated like luggage as he was passed from one relative to another. But he grew up, got a job working as a corporate slave, and became self-sufficient enough to pay his rent while not starving. Currently, his job is tedious, and the only joy in his life comes from spending his evenings at home alone, designing and building little houses in the game "My Little Aranara Friend", but things could be worse!
It becomes worse in the blink of an eye. He dies. And not only is he forcefully transported into the world of "My Little Aranara Friend", but he's also stuck in the body of a mob monster called a Fungus where his only hope of getting a human body is by levelling up.
...And also by saving the Aranara from mass extinction caused by some malevolent mysterious dark power called "The Withering" that, if left unchecked, will also destroy the world.
Fuck his life.

Those are some of the first words Ajax, starving college student extraordinaire, has the misfortune of hearing upon waking up in a brave new world from what he's fairly sure is a very fatal accident involving water and a shit ton of electricity.
Okay, so he's not dead. That's good. But what's this about him being stuck playing the character Tartaglia? Tartaglia, as in the no-good, one-dimensional, cartoonish villain who met his untimely, gruesome death in the first act of the original game?
Forget this. Like hell Ajax is going to share that fate.
And so begins one man's journey to save himself from his awful destiny.

He groans hearing the bell to his apartment ring, reeling when he realizes it’s Dottore leaning against the doorway like he’s trying to pick someone up. The taller man has dinner takeout, and a not-so-subtle bag that holds lube and a box of condoms in the other hand.
“What’s a cute thing like you doing alone tonight?” Dottore winks.
Scaramouche resists the urge to slam the door in his face. “What the hell are you doing here?”
The doctor invites himself into Scaramouche’s space like he owns it, hand wrapping smoothly around his waist. “Well, since the hospital so graciously gave you leave, I thought about taking a few days off for myself to keep you company,” he murmurs, trailing kisses down Scaramouche’s neck. “Can I stay?”
Scaramouche kicks the door shut behind him in response.
Dottore is a doctor, Scaramouche is a nurse. To no one's surprise, they're both menaces.

Thousands of years ago, Seth the god of war, god of chaos, and Kemet's bona fide evil god, died. He died alone in some corner of the desert with the hopes that the world would finally be able to move on without him.
But unresolved matters have a way of lying in wait, ready to crop up when the opportunity is ripe. Thousands of years later and thousands of miles away, Seti--human, orphan, and suffering from chronic pain--wakes up plagued by mysterious dreams that invoke a strong sense of nostalgia mixed with the (strangely familiar) ache of heartbreak.
Then to make matters even worse, mysterious characters begin appearing in his life in the form of a dog, a falcon, and a Zeus. And for some reason, they wouldn't leave him alone.
