“A wife, two kids and a pond.” Jack repeats.

Enji hated the silence of his house. It’s too silent now that none of his kids live there. It’s been silent for a while now and it’s grating on his nerves. But Hawks - the ever-insufferable brat that he is- always invites himself in, with his loud laughs and incessant chattering, makes it bearable.
Soon hangouts turned into dates, and dates turned into sleepovers and now Hawks had completely made himself at home in Enji’s house. It’s amazing, it’s new but it’s also terrifying. Especially since Enji dreads the day his kids found out that he’s happy and moved on. And so Enji has to decide, is Hawks worth it?
