He swallows despite his dry throat. “With what?” Aang matches her hushed tone.
Instead of responding with words, Toph shifts closer on top of him, closing the distance between them until their noses are almost touching. Her thumb brushes softly against his cheek, and he feels the urge to lean into her touch. Instead, he clenches his jaw.
“I think you know what, Twinkletoes.”

This starts right after Zuko shows up at the Western Air Temple and is accepted into the group.
Katara battles with herself on whether or not Zuko can be trusted. Aang may need Zuko to teach him firebending but that doesn't mean Katara has to like or even get along with him. She meant what she said. He takes one step backwards, one slip up; gives her any reason to think he might hurt any of them, and he won't have to worry about his destiny anymore. Because his destiny will end. Right then and there.
