Summary
Bunny can't figure out whether Raffles is hitting on him or not. Then he figures it out.
He began to find occasions for little touches—at first rarely, then more and more. He would brush his lips against my ear when he whispered in it, and let his hands linger at my throat when he fastened my cloak. He sat too near for comfort on his sofa, and kept his grip on my glass for seconds after he handed it to me, smiling at me over the rim in a manner that heated my blood.
Now he will kiss me, I thought a thousand times. Now...now...but he never did.

Summary
He loses his virginity to an older man with a pale circle around his ring finger. The man isn't especially attractive or interesting, but he looks at Edward with a sort of starved desperation that might befit a penniless beggar at the window of an expensive bakery. Edward can't get enough of that look, of the clammy, covetous touches, of the groaned praise. Of being looked at like he's something miraculous, something beautiful, something good. There are a lot of pathetic middle-aged men after that. Edward doesn't let himself reflect on it.
He's fine. It's fine. He's surviving.

Edward Nygma has become very skilled at lying to himself.
