Summary
Peter loved Christmas. He loved everything about it: the decorations, the music, the treats, the presents. But most of all, he loved Christmas because it meant his dad took ten days off, total silence, do not contact him about work or you won’t have a job come January, type of time off. It wasn’t that he didn’t get his attention normally, but without the distractions of work (or heaven forbid if he had a girlfriend come Christmas, blech.) Peter got it undivided, especially on Christmas morning. What used to be presents from Santa and playing with toys turned into movie marathons and building Legos together over plates of finger foods and too much sugar. It was his favorite day of the year.
So when he wakes up feeling horrible on Christmas morning, he’s pretty pissed off.

Harley clenches his jaw and taps the table a couple of times. “What’s in it for me?”
“Salvation. What’s his name?”
“Who?”
“The asshole that left you with a pup,” he huffs like it’s obvious. “I’ve got the best tech and a legal team like the world has never seen. I can find him in a week and get you whatever rights you want. Deal?”
He chews on his bottom lip for a moment before realizing that he’d help the Alpha without it. So he might as well take the shot. “Deal. But if you wake up the toddler, then you’re gonna have bigger problems than whatever you’re dealing with. Also, I only have peanut butter and honey.”
