Summary
After the events of the Immortal Alliance Conference, Luo Binghe and Liu Qingge find themselves suddenly dependent on one another for survival. In order to return to their beloved Shen Qingqiu, they’ll have to face down innumerable monsters, Luo Binghe’s unstable demonic powers, and their own tangled feelings.
Meanwhile, all Shen Qingqiu wants is to be left alone. Unfortunately, even with the System in hibernation he can’t seem to escape the demands of the plot. He finds himself tasked with sorting out the aftermath of the Conference, investigating a missing person case, and taking a trip to visit Liu Qingge’s family. Through it all, the narrative continues to deviate further and further from the original story Shen Qingqiu had read, ultimately leading to a discovery that could shed light on the past and bring long-buried secrets to the surface.

Summary
“Liu Qingge! I told you not to drink the water!” Shen Qingqiu shouts. His thoughts are a panicked whirl—is it going to have the same effect that it did in the original story?
Liu Qingge just stares at him in shock.
Shen Qingqiu’s question is answered when he suddenly hears Liu Qingge’s voice. Liu Qingge isn’t speaking, though—his mouth never moves. No, Shen Qingqiu is hearing Liu Qingge’s voice inside his head.
Liu Qingge’s voice says, “Holy shit. I can see his nipples.”
They both stare at each other in horror. At that moment, there’s a happy little ding and a System notification pops up in front of him.
[Congratulations! Bonus mission activated: Sharing is Caring!]
“Fuck,” Shen Qingqiu says, with feeling.

Summary
Brunch went south about two steps away from the front entrance of Shen Yuan’s favorite cafe; a place with free wifi, big squishy chairs, custom mimosa pitchers, and an endless avocado toast special. He arrived bright and early with his computer bag under one arm and the intention of staking out one of the solo tables in back for the rest of the morning until he’d finished his current editing project.
The project in question was the latest offering from Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky after he broke out from webnovels, so endless mimosas and carbohydrates would be necessary for Shen Yuan to make it through with his sanity and blood pressure intact. Shang Qinghua was late on his most recent draft, but the earliest chapters had been finalized so he could get started on that at least.
However, his phone pinged just as he reached the entrance, and Shen Yuan made the fatal mistake of pausing to check the message.
Shen Jiu: Too late now, but brace yourself. We’re inside. Qi-ge set us both up.
Or: that one where Shen Yuan lost his break up, but Luo Binghe is about to kill it on the rebound.

Summary
Shen Yuan’s smugness lasted up until Shen Qingqiu whisked him off to the Bamboo House, where Shen Yuan was meant to brew and serve his shizun his first pot of tea as official head disciple. Shen Qingqiu didn’t dump it on his head, thankfully, but he did give Shen Yuan a rather unnerving warning:
“If you have the nerve to present qianyuan in the future, this master will make sure you regret it for the rest of your life.”
Yikes! What the hell was someone supposed to say to that? Got it, I’ll make sure to control this completely uncontrollable fact of nature? Talk about unfair!
Shen Yuan transmigrates into a cannon-fodder NPC in an omegaverse version of PIDW. He tries his best to make the most of it—with a few stumbling blocks along the way.
Look, he doesn’t need to know all the ins and outs of omegaverse customs, right?
