No-Name’s attention had been completely absorbed onto the mysterious book, so the sound Tim’s voice directly behind her made her fur stand on end with a small startle, ears perking up while slowly shifting the book’s cover shut.
Huh..?
No-Names gut screamed at them to turn around, their eyes darting behind her before suddenly widening with fright as she shoved her entire body down to ground beside the pedestal. A deep gash made along her side, just a second too late to avoid the attack completely. She clutched the new wound, eyes bulging at a diamond sword now lodged into the base of it, splintering the wood. It shun in the moonlight, coated on the side with her blood. And at the other end of the sword, gripping the weapons handle with a vice grip was Tim.
Starring directly into their eyes.

Summary
While still getting adjusted to providing funds all by himself for him and his younger siblings, Grian begins to secretly take some extra stock from the smugglers working between Mid-level and the elitist Level 1, surely they won’t notice or care about the measly extra credits he’s getting, it’s not like he has siblings to take care of.
In other words, Grian meddles with the wrong people and he and his family face the consequences (some more than others)
