“So, what? You’re saying we’re never going to have kids?” Agatha asked, her voice cracking. She stared, long and hard at Rio to see if she could conjure some sort of answer from her wife’s look. All she got in return was a terrified expression that felt like a punch in the gut. “We’re not, are we? You were never going to change your mind. You were just going to hold it back until it was too late for us to have kids?”
Rio gulped, her hands shaking at her side as she took a step forward, which only resulted in Agatha taking one back and holding her hand out. “Don’t! Just stay there, please. I —"
“Agatha, I don’t want to lose you.” Rio confessed, her heart aching at the hurt etched on her wife’s face. “Look, we can—"
“I want a divorce.”
