    Shen Jiu was drawing his last breaths in the pot when a magpie appeared before him. Its feathers gleamed black and white, its eyes a sinister shade of red.

    [Shen Qingqiu, we have been watching. Across all worlds, among all villains—you are the vilest. A scum villain without equal. The perfect candidate to become a Host. Will you accept?]

    "Get lost," Shen Jiu rasped, spitting blood toward it. The magpie only flicked its wings, perching mockingly atop his head.

    [Why not hear me out? What if I told you…you could return to the past? That you could have the power to rewrite it all?]

    Shen Jiu's gaze drifted uncontrollably to Xuan Su's shards. If another chance truly existed, it would be a miracle. And even if this was a lie, what could be worse than this?

    "…Fine. Do your worst. There’s nothing left for me here anyway."

    OR Shen Jiu acquires a System and must enter various worlds as the designated scum villain. His task is only fulfilled upon his character's dramatic death, earning him points toward his ultimate wish. It was simple deal. Except…WHY are the protagonists all Luo Binghe??

    Celebrity chef Luo Binghe refuses to serve anything but his best possible dishes – so when he catches a stray cat trying to steal scraps from his restaurant’s trash he ends up dishing out a proper meal for the scrawny thing.     “A slave,” he answers, and Yue Qingyuan nods as if this isn’t surprising.

    Then he turns towards Lord Xu and he says, “I will buy him.”

    The rest of the Peak Lords, save perhaps Yue Qingyuan, would likely not care if one day Shen Qingqiu was found dead from a qi deviation by one of his disciples. But Mu Qingfang did not agree. This was his shixiong. Even if he was cold, reclusive, and quick-tempered, Mu Qingfang did not want him to die.
    "Shixiong," Mu Qingfang began, stepping away to rummage through his cabinets. "I have a solution that may give you longer term results."
    Perhaps it was a testament to how bad this particularly qi deviation had been, or how weary Shen Qingqiu was, but his shixiong didn't immediately decline. Instead his face twitched then he looked away.
    "If it will hurt, then that is fine."

    Mu Qingfang has a particular solution to Shen Qingqiu’s qi deviation problem, one that will also solve his own growing desire
