Summary
In the water, Rin opens his eyes: the sting and the salt and the interminable, empty blue. It threw him off balance, hearing himself talk like that. That much, that calm. When he lets Isagi in like that, he can’t stop his heart from reaching out for more, clumsy and stupid.
He swims for a long time, until his muscles ache in that good way that lets his brain fuzz out a little bit. When he gets out of the water, Isagi and the dog have left the beach.
Everything comes crashing down on Itoshi Rin. All it really takes is Isagi Yoichi, Greece, and a stray dog.

Little lady, she snorts. Rolling her eyes. Five years of medical school, of hard graft, and he says it so suavely that she can hardly be mad, because she’s been made to feel small tonight. She’s been attacked in her own apartment, she feels light and vulnerable, and his large hand against her knee– those hands which can level cities and rip curses from limb to limb, touch her so gently that she just wants to relent, to lose herself completely. She’s a thimble, a penny, a grain of rice. She’s so small that she’s imperceptible. She’s light as a feather. She’s an atom waiting to be split.

Summary
Sae only ever revealed such an unguarded, docile side of himself when he was so thoroughly worn out like this. His captivating eyes shone a hazy emerald, reminiscent of boundless mountain forests enshrouded by mist after a heavy rainfall. A hint of clarity lurked within their veiled depths as he blinked slowly, still basking in the lingering intensity of his release.
Only at times like this Sae would not tell him that there was absolutely nothing worth salvaging between them at all.
Only at times like this Sae would not say that he hated him to the core.

Summary
Sure, the emotions he felt towards Bunny were mostly negative, the other having a particularly well developed skillset finely tuned to pissing Sae off any chance he could. The way Bunny was able to get under his skin was unlike anything he’s ever seen before, the taller knowing exactly which button to press and which nerve to tug at to upset Sae at any given moment.
Even with all of that, Sae could never bring himself to truly hate Bunny. He really, really wanted to, but there was something about him that stirred emotions in Sae that he’s never felt regarding anyone else.or
Sae Itoshi and Bunny Iglesias have a complicated relationship. One day, Bunny crosses a line and Sae can't keep quiet about it. What happens after makes Sae question where he really stands.
