Kate never hears Anthony embarrass himself with the men outside the ballroom, and their second meeting goes quite a bit better; enough that Anthony is enticed to forget his plans for the season, making a point to dance with Kate and lead her to dance with his brother.
While Kate finds it hard to believe that anyone would want her in earnest, a parlor-full of lilies, the Bridgerton's friendship, and the viscount's pledge to help her sift through Edwina's prospects allows Kate to begin to trust him and his intentions - enough to tell him about the Sharma's tenuous situation. But it takes further support from those around her to make clear to Kate - and the ton - that the Diamond is not the only jewel in the Sharma family. Kathani is descended from Indian royalty, after all, and it's time she shows it; even if she and Anthony decide their wedding can wait until Edwina has her season.
But Edwina isn't so sanguine about her sister's attention being divided, especially as Kate's courtship seems to stall and the viscount's former lover comes out of the woodwork. Edwina decides it's up to her to find a match to ensure her family's future - one who will be worthy of the status of a Diamond.

On the same day Harry finds out he's a wizard, he is given a secret letter from his mother telling him that James Potter was not his father by blood - and that being the son of his actual father will be very, very dangerous for him if not kept absolutely Secret.
And if keeping his growing abilities and Dark magical core from everyone weren't enough, he also has to deal with other shit like an evil wizard murderer out to kill him(who has no compunctions about using his friends to get to him), a disgustingly corrupt ministry, a manipulative headmaster and his cronies, a fickle student body, and teenage drama. While his spirit snake, hellhound familiar, elf friends, and surprise Slytherin boyfriend do help, Harry is more than ready to get the Hell out of the wizarding world as soon as he offs Voldemort for hurting his friends - or sooner, if things go sour.
And all this is before he really comes to terms with the fact that his father is Lucifer Morningstar himself.

After Grindelwald is caught, Graves attempts to find a place to get away from the stares of people who know his face (but not him as a person, apparently, because they seem to think he's the type to wear scorpion tie pins, what the f-).
He ends up in Kowalski Quality Baked Goods.
But though the owner and his employee seem to recognize his face, Graves can't quite make himself leave... and his decision to stay leads to healing for everyone involved.

After Hagrid leaves him to go back to Surrey on his own, Harry realizes that, actually, he doesn't have to go back to the Dursleys at all. He seizes the opportunity and goes back to Gringotts, where he is directed to not only the muggle-raised resources he should have gotten but to a little cottage all his own, left to his father by his grandfather.
With the advice of an ancestor's portrait, some explorations of Great Britain's scattered shopping areas, and a better understanding of the new world he's entering, Henry Potter goes to Hogwarts with a better foundation, and the determination to do his best and be himself.
Even if that goes against others' expectations or preferences... like sorting into Hufflepuff, making friends with Slytherins, or winning over their grouchy potions master.

Yet another Iron Man fix-it fic. I like to think I've put a few original spins on it though. Don't like, don't read.

Metal, Magic, Mobius by Momeratz_Autgraeb
After the Snap, Tony comes back to... nothing. He does his best to continue on and ends up getting his drive back by mastering, of all things, magic.
So when Rogers, Romanoff, and Ant-guy show up he tells them no, of course - he's not going to sacrifice six universes to save one - but using the Infinity Stones isn't the only option for saving the world, and there's a better method of time travel at his fingertips now. It might, maybe, possibly involve going back in time and possessing/soul-merging with his younger self post-Afghanistan, but at least he's without Rogers and the others to fuck things up, so he can hit the ground running... starting with Stane and SI and working his way from there. Nala showing up from his previous timeline is a nice bonus, as is the acceptance of the ancient relic that guarantees good dreams(best relic ever!).
Also he has to tell Rhodey, come on. Rhodey knows when something's up.
