Xisuma shut the door behind him. Quietly. The lock clicked into place.
He unlocked it. And relocked it.
Then he could step away from the door. Then he was safe. Then no one would be able to get in.
He stared at the locked door for a few more moments before glancing around his base. He should lock the windows, draw the blinds, hide so they couldn’t find him. But then they’d know he knows. If they knew, it’d be worse. So they can’t know.
So he checked the door again.aka:
Xisuma has a paranoid episode.
A bad one.
Things go badly for him.

They end up taking drastic measures to learn the truth... and it changes the course of the story. To give a better idea of how this story goes, this is a fan fiction about Meliodas's past in the war and present with the Sins colliding. Think of it as an alternate story of how the war with the Ten Commandments and Liones could play out. One filled with more in-depth angst and backstory between Meliodas and his brothers. Not to mention, a bit of an alternate backstory as to why he left the demons to begin with...
P.S. The writing quality will likely improve or change as the story continues, because I started writing this in 2023 and have continued writing chapters all the way to now.
