How much did they resemble their parents, he wondered. Would Rocky and Adrian's kids resemble either of them? He hoped so. Adrian's green, Rocky's carapace. Their passion for science, their curiosity and kindness. Their love for each other, and him. He wouldn't get to see them grow up. Eridians lived for so long, and humans… didn't. They wouldn't even be in their teens when he died.
