Summary
While watching The Walking Dead, Lori Adams just HAD to throw a challenge out there to the universe. What challenge, you ask? Well, everyone knows that Lori Grimes didn't make the best choices in the show. She might have criticized her just a 'little' bit and declared that any other Lori could do better and make better choices than Lori Grimes did. Specifically:
"Of course I could do better than Lori Grimes did. Make better decisions. Live better. Anyone could, but I damn sure would!”Lori is extremely surprised to find out the universe--or at least the system talking to her in her head--took her VERY seriously. Not only that, but her own world depends on her saving this one...as Lori Grimes. Her first major challenge is to keep Rick Grimes and Shane Walsh alive and friends on the same page. United.
Yeah, no problem. It's not like it's the end of the world (or multiple worlds) if she fails. Her and her big mouth and her famous last words.

Harly and her godson moved to North Carolina for a fresh start after the death of his grandmother and previous co-parent Andromeda Tonks. As always Harly Potter has the worst timing on the entire planet and the whole world goes to shit a few months after they arrive.
Or, how freaking useful would magic be in the Zombie apocalypse, pretty damn useful if you can manage to survive.

Thinking over what she overheard, Carol decides that if Lori's foolish enough to discard the man who kept them all alive for a man barely aware of their new world, she's happy to pick up the pieces. She and her kids can't learn what they need to survive this world without someone to teach them, after all.

Summary
Harriet Jamie Potter never knew who she was. So when the Grimes family adopted her after their son Rick finds an abused little girl in the neighbors yard, they named her Heleana Skye Grimes, it was about a year later that they discovered who she really was. The outbreak started right before her defeat of Voldemort, but it hadn't reached the wizarding world yet. She heads home to the USA and discovers that her parents are dead and her brother has been shot. Setting out she leaves Kentucky for Georgia hoping that the rest of her family is alive and that she finds them. Along their journey, she finds out more about herself and maybe hope at stopping this disease that has spread across the world.
