Summary
Post episode 5 drabble basically. There is only hurt here, so I do not suggest that you read if you are on the fluff train for ep 7 xd. That makes no sense... whatever. This is my take on what happened after Pran ran off the roof, after the kiss. There is a slight change to canon, but it's very minor. It is mostly feelings.

Summary
Luffy has always been an advocate for going after what you want. It makes sense that this is how he decided he wanted things to play out.
Zoro wants.
He wants Luffy to be his. He wants everyone to see how connected they are. He wants to pledge himself to Luffy and have Luffy pledge himself to him. A near possessive thrill courses through him. He’d never allowed himself to want like this before, to desire. He wants to claim him as his own.
And wasn’t that selfish?
He wanted Luffy to be his. The world could have their versions of Luffy, friend, hero, liberator, pirate, villain, menace, God, or straw hat. Zoro wanted to claim the version of Luffy that no one else has had and never will.
It was thrilling! Luffy wants no one else. He’d always desired to claim this part of Luffy, and yet his captain had already saved it for him. He’s the only one who would be able to claim the title lover, and vice versa.
