Henry doesn't care, anyway. He should be thankful Alastor drinks, pays his damn wage that way. Perhaps he feels a kinship with Alastor, that dried up, miserable feeling that coats both of them. There is no further they can sink yet they cannot rise. They're stuck in this limbo until the day they can die. Then, they can go to hell.
"Husker." Alastor says, finally says something. And it's that damn name. Husker. A joke is what it is. A reminder he is a shell of who he used to be. Though, is Alastor any different? "Another."
There is no please. Men like them don't say please, they don't hold doors open for others anymore nor do they smile at pretty ladies who pass by. They're the type of men you see and frown because you know they're waiting for the day they die.

His hunger knows no bounds with Vincent and he struggles beneath it.

Or Alastor is a freak and dresses Vox’s headless body like Vincent with the plan of eating him but I listened to Hozier while writing so it ended up reading pretty yearningly.
